Those combos smashed everything I've seen from Desk. No hate on Desk, he's amazing, but damn-those combos...

It might just be because my friend is an excellent Seth/Sakura player and I've seen (and been on the recieving end of) loads of combos like these, but I didn't find them "Desk impressive"
I'll give them the Oni/E. Ryu/Honda combos because they were pretty interesting, but I think we've all seen those Dudley combos before.
Nothing against the guys that did the combos, they're still better than me and they're at least doing something for their community.
@ #5 I don't wanna hate on desk either, but at the same time yes we've seen desk do some of these or even better ones buuuuuut, These guys as you could see hit some of them IN match, which imo is more impressive than going through the motions in training mode.

Actually the online combos were done in actual matches, not against each other. Some were ranked, and some were endless, but they were all actual games. Not just fighting each other online solely to perform combos
You probably went into the fights with an intent to DO the combos though, which is an entirely different kettle of fish.
In a match you can play to win, (maximising your damage, watching your meter usage, smart punishes, going for knockdowns/mix-ups etc.) or you can play to style (exactly what was done here) How in any possible situation was that Sakura combo good? Yeah it did some damage but after that there was no meter and no ultra, you're instantly in a worse position because of it. Of course if it's at the very end of a match and you know it's going to kill, by all means, style.
You might not have gone into those matches and had the other guy stand still, but with one blocked DP or ultra, you're in for whatever punish you desire. If you've got the meter/ultra, you'll style for the combo video you knew you were going to do. It's not that difficult to put yourself in that situation to get the full combo. Perhaps to do the combo fully online, (which again, I give you props for) it's just that you make it sound like it's impossible to style on someone online :/
In what way did he sound like that? He just pointed what he did exactly, I think those 500 words of you are all wasted.
Excellent combos. Never seen the honda ones before.
