Zombiebrian wrote in today to let us know that the forums have several projects that are currently in the works along with some events that you can participate in.

The first project that may interest you is the Character % Usage Project, which aims to tabulate how many characters are used overall online in a particular game. Here are the links for Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 and Super Street Fighter 4: Arcade Edition should you want to participate.

The forums also have a UMvC3 Ranbat set up in case you want to join the tournament which starts on December 2nd. Also included is a UMvC3 Sparring Thread where you can challenge other people to matches. This is a great way to get matches in, especially if you're looking for players close to your location to minimize lag.
