As one of the most uncomfortable CC vids I've ever seen. I felt so bad - I thought Marn was going to cry under that hood.
It was also one of the funniest just because that ending, "Oh no, Marn, I'm sorry! Please don't kill me."

just cause using a top tier team doesnt make you immune to making mistakes and you shouldnt devalue marns wins cause of his team choice. Im sure mike ross would win more if he put more time into playing umvc3. Doesnt really seem like he goes to training mode much if at all.
I'd really like to believe that in a fighting game, character choice doesn't matter, but in MvC3 I'm starting to think otherwise. I don't think hard work a practice helps in this game. But its still alot of fun to play and more fun to watch.

Also screw level 4 X-Factor Wesker. Every video I've seen that has wesker + lvl 3 xfactor + no glasses shows him doing insane damage. Touch of Death against pretty much every character unless the player fs up a combo.
- lvl3 x-factor Wesker is the new d.phoenix..
- If you touch Wesker he probably wont die.
- If Wesker touches you, you are definetely dead.
- His all normals are super strong and safe
- His all teleports are safe.His combos are super easy.
Wesker > Doom > Storm > Magneto > Vergil
Vergil/Strider will not be OP 2 months later. Everyone will learn how to block them.
Right, lets say i touched Wesker before he touched me.
My best Vergil combo does 850k damage with 3 bars + DHC makes it 920 or lower..
So it doesnt kill wesker and he will be back with lvl3 x factor.
Also everyone puts him as 3rd player.
So i have to snapback him.
Even x-factor lvl1 will not be able to kill him

He's still not as bad as Level 3 X Factor Dark Phoenix. Nothing will be. Ever. And let's not forget the early pre-patch days of all the Level 3 X Factor Sentinels that could take a beating and keep on coming.
He's bad, but not THAT bad. As for your best Vergil Combo doing 850k damage with 3 bars, and the other statistics that you have listed, I'd say that you need a heavier hitter on your team. If you're going up against a team with Wesker on it on Anchor then you need to be able to kill him outright as soon as humanly possible. Even if that means snapping him in and blowing your X Factor. The threat of him being removed is enough to turn the tide imo.
Regardless, X Factor is still shenanigans, and over half of the cast is insane in level 3 XF. It's just how it goes. It's not even just marvel, EVERY game has something cheap/top tier that people can abuse. Get used to fighting it and dealing with it or don't play, imho. *shrug*

Mike Ross using Thor first 2 games and then playing underused chars/legit Sentinel afterwards: even if he lost, IMO he outplayed Marn. Marn's redeeming factor is his Zero, but his Vergil and Wesker looked very average...

All i wanna say Wesker is clearly the best in UMVC3(w/ lvl3 xfactor of course).
If his health was 900k, it would be very balanced for me.

Ross is definitely an under-rated player. I remember when Mvc3 launched Marn was the best player around with his Viper/Zero team sadly he is far from the best today. That said Ross held his own and I respect who he plays. Ryu and Storm come on you gotta respect that. Ross could tier whore just like all his friends if he really wanted but theres no fun in that. Sorry but I just don't respect players who use Wesker like come on show some originality.
Capcom goes and buffs Wesker and nerfs She-Hulk to the point that Combofiend even drops her thats injustice to the sole stand-alone Marvel heroine point blank period. Don't feel too bad Ross we all watched Wong put Marn in his place with Felicia yesterday so take that as redemption.
You could use a few more hours in training mode tho.
What this site really needs is for Combofiend and Wong to just go at it. I still don't know which is better. And even tho Fiend has clearly dropped She-Hulk I'd still like him to show her some love. Shes effin She-Hulk. Ohh one more thing Ross if you had picked Storm/Senty/Hulk you likely would've won. Everyone in that room including yourself underestimates your Hulk he should be a main staple in you team for sure.
And although your buddies tier whore you are using Drones so you need to abuse that to its fullest its probably top 3 best assist in the game. Especially when coupled with Wolverine. All and all I know SF is your game and you'll likely dominate these guys in Sf x Tekken so let them enjoy the semi-broken umvc3.
And I'd like my PsyKnife account unbanned. Clearly Rocket Raccoon should not be playable in these game ova all the Marvel elite Heroines and many people have spoken up about the issue. What I'd like to see more then anything I've stated is for the big players to bring awareness to the issue. Why does Marvel only have 4/26 playable women and why are 3 of X-Woman and 1/3 X-Woman and unknown X-Woman at that. Just make comments on it. Please spread the issue. If Super UMvC3 comes out and we again see no new Marvel women something seriously needs to be done.
In addition if you use Jean you should play Mvc3 so there is really only 3 Marvel Woman and if you play X-23 online you know her combos are a nightmare do to netcode. So now theres really only 2 Marvel women. And if you mained She-Hulk in Mvc3 you now know there is really only 1 playable Marvel heroine that is justified. Jeez Storm thats it really? I swear I dont live in 2011.

F*ck Marn, and f*ck Wesker. Wesker is the only reason he won that set. He was outplayed almost every match until lvl 4 wesker came on the scene.

Funny in many (nearly all) Marvel game titles and Capcom/Marvel video game collaborations many come; self subconsciously, to a similar assumption that a percentage of the cast would be Marvel heroines/anti-heroiones. Said heroine(s) usually that latter are absent painfully at any given example. Point being the generalization is never reflected. Maybe below a lot of peoples expectations aswell.
Psylocke does have a history of showing up as DLC lately Marvel "MAY" try to give her some layway and give Capcom the okay to use her yes. But I think further character DLC if anything is a while away.
I'd also say throw in Luke Cage and Black Panther cause shes that powerful from all aspects in Marvel...further incorporatin' of racial diversity. Adding The Black Panther is also marketable as Cage and could be used to promote future projectd. Both could have T.v shows in the works. Aka Jessica Jones (w/e). Mightiest heroes and likely Avengers 2014 and onwards" appearances with Ant-Man,The Wasp.
I also meant the Marvel game library. Excluding maybe 55% of the X-men games. No one is going to do a good job retracting. The X-Men games of recent year also fail to meet prerequite expectations.

And Xmen: Origins Wolverine was expected to be garbage like the movie, and it really wasn't bad at all.
