They have the next 2 years to ponder on those gems
lol @ Kuma toy.
You can't drastically change 20 years of character design, wouldn't expect something exceptional, but it is nice to see Chun with more narrow eyes. Dunno about her thighs... I want them big, but it maybe weird to see that work in a Tekken environment.
Ryu looks exactly like his SFIV concept.
Can't wait to see the 3d models though, specially Blanka, Akuma, Sagat and Urien (IF THEY DID HIM... OH MY GOD!).
I'm looking foward to TEKKEN x Street Fighter w-a-y more than SFxTK
I wish Namco's version would've came out 1st
And I'm thinking whoever doesn't make it into Street Fighter x TK will definitley be in TEKKEN x SF ;]
As long as they don't make Chun-Li look like a roided up man like Capcom did in SF4, I'll be happy.
I have faith in Harada.
Stay gimmick free! Oh and Chun-Li better have her horse legs
Wow, this interpretation of Chun-Li made me fall in love with her all over again. I actually prefer this image over her latest concept arts for say SF IV. The Ryu is amazing as well. It reminds me of 3rd Strike and CvS2 Ryu, but in 3D!
I can already feel the hype and excitement for TekkenxStreet Fighter.
I have faith in Harada and his team!
SFxT hype is dead for me... at least this amazing art got me a lil' excited for TxSF
I like the less steriod induced bulky look. SSF4 characters look a little too cartoony for my taste.
Looks pretty damn awesome. Can't wait to see the 3D models.
I'm looking more to this than Capcom version. It'll be interesting to see how the sf guys are translated into the tekken universe. Although characters like sagat, barlog and even yuri(to name a few) have styles that are already in tekken(Bryan/Bruce:muay Thai ,hworang:tae Kwan do, Steve :boxing) even looking at Virtua fighter Akira is what I can picture ryu as.
Wish I had the remote controller from that movie Click - http://youtu.be/448jZuA5Y1I so I could > fast fwd >> to Tekken x SF's release !
They are going to make the SF cast look so unbelievably sick.
Namco's artists >>> Capcom's artists.
Chun Li looks gorgeous, like 3S Chun Li. I just hope her thighs are stick nice and thick like 3S Chun.
Can't wait til New Years. I hear Harada is going to reveal some more info on Tekken x Street Fighter.
Namco is the best at 3d models and 3d fighting games and I never see a complaint from any gamer. That being said, I have a strong feeling that this game will do better with the fighting game community than SFXT. Capcom has dropped the ball and have alienated a lot of fans with their gems and other come back mechanics.
This is the version I said I was going with since reveal of the projects....I'm so tired of SF and SFXT doesn't look all that different to me..well besides those wacky azz gems and pandora..Yes, I'll pass
The best thing about this picture ? The Kuma toy isn't blocking s h i t.
@30 & 31
I agree w/both of your points.
Ima laugh when txsf models blow capcoms crap out of the water. When it comes down to it mvc3s models are 10 times better then sf4 and that says alot.
Stunning and professional art work. I'm not really into this whole thing of SF and Tekken crossing over but I have more faith in Namco than Capcom right now. WTF happened to Capcom :( they use to be the best at this stuff.
*looks back at mvc2 and alpha 3 art*
lol at the Kuma fapping on his back to the chun li image.
@# 14 & 16 I agree they better have juiced the thickness up on Chun lis legs for it to be Chun Li. Normal legs on her would be like Spider-Man without his spider powers it just wont look right however seeing these picks so far i have trust that Harada and his team know what there doing.
I cant wait to see what to see what the full models look like especialy Chuns ^_^
Chun Li better have those Beyonce thighs. All the chicks in Tekken have bodies of young boys with big boobs and cute faces. Not cool.
@41 @42
ur kiding, look at the models. Look at ryu/chun in both sf4 mvc3. Seriously now, in sf4 ryu looks like a cave man and chun looks just retarded, mind u that alot of the models in the game have major cliping and the alt customs do nothing but showcase it, in mvc3 the character look as they should. Just think a character how bad morrigan would like in sf4, prob look worst then cammy.
All this conflict on how video game girls look like. Let us just wait for the finished product. And it seems no one is ever really satisfied. Video game character appearances seem to alter every so often as time goes on. Do not really see anything with how the Tekken girls look like... If you were referring to Leo... Then I guess you made your point but then again.. Leo is Leo so not much more you can say about that. And the girls of Street Fighter look fine too. To make it fair, everyone has complained about some of their new looks.. SF4 rose.. People do not like her.. C.Viper seems to have a boob problem.. Juri has a five head... and so on.
I would only think that there are complaints on the Tekken side here just because of the fanboys? I wonder where the complaints were when the tekken girls made their debut Capcom's fighting engine.. Who knows there may have been some of that but I am not always here so I guess if you can show me if they were.. then I will stand corrected.
These two concept sketches are better looking than every single piece of art in SF4. Whoever conceived of the current art style needs to be fired. It's terrible.
Namco has good artists, The original artist from SF in capcom are either retired or working on other projects and it's sad to see how the quality suddenly went down since MvC3, they don't even bother having the artist doing the cover art anymore they just put the 3d models on the cover.
Wonderful art, when I first saw them I thought they hired Akiman !
At the people asking for a model of Ryu, have you not seen his TxSF prototype?
Makeover Ryu so he doesnt look so...1987 Harada and Co. can DO IT!
im actually surprised with all this Capcom bashing on eventhubs xD
i, too, am a fan of Tekken, way more than SF, although i dont "hate" nothing from capcom side of things, so far every Tekken char in SFXT seems like a good render to a SFIV world.
As fa as the models go i too have faith that Namco's might be betterm but im not sure till i see something. I too dont like SFIV's models to much either, some are good, other are... well.
although as much as i wanna say "TvsSF will own everything", i remain ceptical as to how they will tackle the challenge, Capcom has it "easy" because it is so much easier to transfer 3D plane chars to a 2D plane, and reduce 60-120 move set to 20-30, but then again the game may remain a bit shallow, and T fighters might not feel like T fighters at all, and they are adding this classic crazy "VS" features that will end in one of the following (in the case that T fighters are Alienated from T feel): said gimmicks blast the experience even further giving it a bland feel; OR; they actually create good depth and fun for players.
I for one, although a bit hyped, dont feel this game to much right now, does not seem fun in a competetive way, nor it has that crazy fun factor like MVC.
i hope the best for both games
i'm not getting my hopes up for this game. look what SNK did with capcom characters in SVC chaos. horrible! only capcom knows how to do street fighter properly. i'd only get this game for collection purposes.
Finally some nice art in the SF series again! SF4 art was a**. I preferred SF3 and some of the SF2 Championship etc editions.
Wonder how they are planning to wreck this game? DLC pants? DLC boots? Maybe DLC a 2nd round. Better win the first one or you can't get a 2nd chance!
I like it! For me is better than street fighter x tekken.
