good for him, i come to eventhubs to see news related to capcom fighters, and to see what eventhubs community thinks about the stuff that is ongoing, since eventhubs is as close to the community i get, so yh i would nto mind if they made money off eventhubs, as long as they dont rub it in our face, and "donate! and get 10% more news! People like you are a cancer to the community, attempting to spread your negative ideas amongst others till you get this group of ill-informed individuals that splits the community. For one, I would like to know how you know the amount of donations that gootecks and Cross Counter actually receives, as you make it sound like its an exorbitant amount that's not being reflected in their work. They have put together a great weekly show, multiple series of taped gaming sessions, a Live show to get news faster and more interviews with members of the community, high-quality tutorials with pros from the game...I mean what else do you want?!?
I could honestly care less if Gootecks and Mike Ross kept half of the donations just for themselves, though I doubt that's the case. They are hard working individuals that really do a lot for the community, and it's no secret that both of them are into the production side of things (I dunno about Gootecks but I'm pretty sure Mike Ross's bachelors was related to film). It would be hard for both of them to live in an expensive state like Cali, do as much as they do, AND support themselves with 40 hour a week jobs. I'm very grateful for all they and their team do to attract new people to the scene.
If you have a problem with Gootecks and eventhubs, thats fine. But just stop visiting this site and spewing your unwarranted hate. There are many other online communities that will welcome you. We don't need your BS on this site, and Catalyst is being rather fair even letting one of your posts stay up imo.
