Don't think he is bad, just don't see him staying up there....I could be totally wrong but who knows, just my personal believe that Nemesi-s will die out by and large. If anyone can innovate with a character and FORCE them to be good though it would be Combofiend, so we will see
and Dios X is a good player with a really good Doom. His play style is pretty lame sometimes but still, you can't really call the man a fraud

Dios X is a really good player. People need to stop with the incessant hating. Just because his playstyle doesn't appeal to you or he isn't as exciting to watch as some other players, you have to give props where it's due. Dude made it to grand finals through winners bracket for a reason.

I'll admit Marvel is a fast paced game. Some of the best players play some damn good rushdown teams. It's a nice change of pace to see someone in Grand Finals try to slow it down and counter Combofiend's style of play. Glad to see him get pushed and live up to his nickname "Comebackfiend".
If Dios-X chooses to play his team in a zoner style fashion, then so be it. That's his comfort zone. He did just that. When he saw his opportunity to bust out a combo ,he did that. It may not have always worked, but it did for him on several occasions. It got him to grand finals, which would hardly make him a fraud. You have to do w/e works for you. Being a turtle (or laming it out) is an actual tactic. Impatience causes errors. Errors lead to windows of opportunity. *Spoiler (don't read until you watch the vid)* Had the outcome been different, would he still be a lame? Would you scold Combofiend for losing to him? Or (not trying to start anything, but this happens a lot) would you make up an excuse to still chastise the guy for how he approached the match? Kudos to them both for a great Grand Finals.

Everybody trashing Dios X is really sad, he's a really old school marvel player and he's not bad at the game by any means
The reason he plays "lame" is because he treats the game too much like MVC2, in MVC2 you would run around with storm and chip with random hailstorms, just keep the opponent locked down. Same goes for Sent and Doom, run away and do mouth lasers/photon shots until the opportunity for a combo arises. He doesn't play lame at all, he just plays it like it's marvel 2.
Dios is a fraud? Don't act like you never thrown 4 projectiles in a row, losers lol.

But playing lame (run away,chip,lock) with storm/sent/doom is not fun.

@5: I kind of disagree. I mean, I doubt he's gonna be a super good character once things flesh out, but he's definitely got tools that I think will keep him up there. Guy hits like a truck with the benefit of nearly full-screen normals and a fairly high-damage projectile.
He still needs to get in to make the most of his damage, but being kept out isn't as much of an issue for him as, say, Hulk.
It's nice to have a viable brutish character in a vs game that isn't Sentinel.
Dios X analise
1- Stay back, call assist (sent)
a) If assist hits, go complete the combo
b) If it doesnt hit, run back call assist again
2- If the player attacks you, push block it and call assist
a) if assist hits, go complete the combo
b) If it doesnt hit, run back and call assist
3- If you cant deal with Spencer, chip him out
a) Stay back, call assist, make a safe super, projectile then assist
b) Stay vak,call assist,if super is not safe use your xfactor and call assist run back
Seth specifically said they wanted to put zoning back on the map as an option for UMvC3. I was actually blown away by how hard he was locking people down. Seeing Combofiend crack through his defense was way epic!
A good zoning style is annoying to deal with if you want to just "get in," but it's nice to see a little bit of spacing game on the stream instead of just hi-low mixups all day.

4- If you lose your storm and sentinel do the lame stufs with Doom
a) Projectile, Jumping S
--a.1) If jS hits, do the easiest loop combo ever,till the end
--a.2) If jS doesnt hits, dash into M
b) If the player has low health run back, projectle into supers.
A shame that Dios is so focused on KEEPING THE SPACE that when all he needed was a simple projectile to chip him out, there isn't much Spencer can do you spam grounded Photon Shots, if he doesn't have meter, that is.
And the fact that Dios simply choked during his end game combos and I believe that he was seeing a FREAKING GIANT DEMON form of Spencer/Combofiend, didn't help.
I only wish Combofiend did the diagonal zip line when he's grounded. With the faster zip line in Ultimate, you can do easy fast over heads in the corner and would've been super effective against Dios, that WOULD NOT attack at all and jump straight up to escape the command over head, thus locking him down and making a new possibility for a mix-up.
wow combofiend is something else in this game! very nice use of spencer there never knew he could so so much to sentinel and so on. and also nice nemisis i have him in one of my 3 teams hope i can learn some of his tougher combos soon!
DiosX play style is nothing new. He's been running this same annoying as team since MvC3. Now that doom is better he is putting him on point instead of sentinel. Same old lame play.
Only watched the first match so far but both floe and dios played well, dunno what all the crying here is about. I assume combo beats him then and sure, not many are on his level. But coming in second is definitely still good and better than you guys calling fraud would ever do.
Okay yeah you guys need to stop crying, Dios clearly played well and definitely earned to be there. Especially vs floe, who doesn't even know how to play his team or characters yet. That was fantastic play most of the time, just got opened up by one of the best players in the world. Dios honestly should've won.
Is it just anger because he's actually playing a zone-heavy team? You can't make excuses like online lag here so you just resort to calling people scrubs when you see something you don't like?

Only reason DiosX is getting hate is because of his Fight Club actions, not about zoning too much or using old characters. Stream monsters are so stubborn XD
Last two games blew my mind.
Fact of the matter is, Dios is garbage. He likes to run it away and mash that button for the win. Is it impossible to beat? Nope. Is it difficult to beat? Unfortunately. I mean, the man's good at running away, and here on the All American Muscle Team, we don't do that sort of thing. Oh, and lesbianXhottie, you have no room to talk, you drop like a chump whenever I run a train over your keep-away gimmicks with my glorious muscles.

and sorry but Dios is trash.... spencer had 1% health, and hes so freakin obsessed with running away and chipping that he lost with 2 characters with 80% health and like 30%-ish health. combo was trying to rush so bad dios probably could have just thrown out a jab and killed him. IN MY OPINION Dios X is lame player, you see that any day of the week playing online... you dont run into many combofiends online.
sn: i never get more hype then when i watch combofiend play and he just gets that one hit that leads to a victory.... like when you see that last bionic arm of the round come out... right when it pauses you brace yourself... then it hits and EXCITEMENT just takes over. I love it
