• Some of Daigo's stats on his Akuma card for SSF4 AE were posted by BAKA OrO. Here's a quick run down.
BP points: 84,982
Matches: 2,070
Victories: 1,575
Win ratio: 76.04%
You can hop the link to check out how Daigo is stacking up against other top Akuma players, namely -6, Eita and Tokido.
• Cross Counter Asia posted an interview with one of the community's top photographers, Kara "Karaface" Leung. Topics range from her work in the community, photography in general and her personal life as well. If you'd like to know more about her, you should definitely watch this clip. There's also another CC Asia interview with Neo.
• A piece covering the beta of Razer's new Arcade stick was posted by the FightersFury crew. This is a pretty good write up if you're curious about this upcoming product.
• Cuongster has a good article covering training methodology and tournament preparation for fighting games.
• Capcom-Unity noted that SF4 Volt on the iOS is now only 99 cents until Thanksgiving day (the 24th).
• MLG did a kind of boring interview with UMvC3's producer, Ryota Niitsuma. There are a few small interesting details, like MvC3 (and Ultimate) have been in development for 3 years, and that Niitsuma would like to do something with Kinect in regards to fighting games. Yoshinori Ono also has a piece in a similar vein where he discusses SFxT.
• Optimus Rhymes did a Street Fighter themed hip hop music video where the on screen action is matched up with the music and lyrics.

If the tier list posted earlier stays the same (which it wont) and Long stays #1 then expect Daigo to switch to him.
Tokido doesnt seem to play much at all. He's had that Akuma card since forever and is only at 3000+ matches, meanwhile Umehara starts a new card, and is now at 2/3s of the number of matches Tokido has since the start of AE!
I suppose he's busy with university and stuff.
And as an aside, I wonder if Daigo is perhaps going through a JWong-like character crisis. I kinda wish he stuck to his Yun, he showed us some good stuff before, and AFAIK is still one of the very few (if not only) people to have a positive win rate against Kazunoko (although Kazunoko's more aggressive style is arguably better when playing unfamiliar people in a tournament format, whereas Umehara's more thoughtful approach works better in long sets)
Not to go on a tangent from the aforementioned comments, but shoutout to Cuongster on a very well written and detailed article explaining training methodology/ tourney preparation! I found it to be an excellent read; I gotta bookmark that for future reference when I undergo my training.
It was only after seeing Daigo's Akuma that I realized how fast his walk speed is. Usually they are just jump fireballing or Demon Flipping but really, he utilizes it to the fullest. Also uses way more ground fireballs than the usual Achooma.
inb4dickrider comments. You'll see what I mean when you get to see him play.
If Daigo was a tier whore he'd play Viper or Fei long. Ryu wasn't in the top 3 in any versions of the game. Altho Ryu is the perfect all round character. Akuma isn't top 3 either
There are also few Akuma's cause he's hard to use/win with without you being bosss
totally agree with number #10. i have always said he is a TIER WHORE. Daigo=tier whore!!
In before everyone calls Daigo a tier whore... oh wait!
Think of the players like sportsmen and characters in the game as the equipment. Tennis players will always want the best racquet, 100m sprinters will always want the best running shoes, basketball players will always want the best sneakers for jumping, etc etc etc. If you want to win (or stand the best chance of winning), go with the best! It's frickin' simple guys come on, quit your damn whining about good players using the best characters. OF COURSE THEY DO!
I think the trolls don't even know what they're talking about. Akuma haven't been top 3 ever since Vanilla.
Sorry Catalyst, I have a lot of respect for the work you do but I'm starting to doubt your 'banning policy'!

Svensson you are a fag, die."
I could go on and on with examples...
How can you let these guys post this sh...?
#20 is a b1tc4! lololololol,
why so serious bro?
hahaha i just happened to come on here to shoot some more on on something of relevance in this article, like how they blatenaly say mvc3 and ultimate were basically being worked on at the same time...why not just make it into ONE 1 polished game, no no we're gonna blame the disaster in japan as an excuse why weren't able to make dlc...but were able to make a whole...40 dollar retail game...
and then i see some little herb trying to 'tell on' me and another user. haha Good job Temtt, you little queen.
and you're criticizing catalyst while doing it SHAME ON YOU!
at least i post relevant things, and things i think people should be aware of, like how capcom's obviously screwing them. you're probably one of those chumps that just sit there and take it.
so i say GOOD JOB TEMTT for being the biggest wad on here.
@ Winston me too
@ 23 You say the same thing over and over. Great we understand you are not satisfied with Capcom. Start a petition. Picket them. Just stop reiterating it when we heard you the first couple times.
Cant wait to see Daigo's Akuma. Love his zoning.
