#10 umm dawg you really need to read its not costumes per say they are customizers where you can make the costume using different parts. Trust me I'm an Alex fan I want him in this game and if this is any indicator that he will be in I am all game.

Guys this is probably just examples of what possibilities you could do with the customization menus. Even if you don't like these, some of these actually don't look bad. I think this is going to be something that people will really put a lot of time into. This game is looking more promising, despite the few things that can be questioned.
@ #19, you and me both. This game is turning into a disaster. Some of the swaps, a very few that is, looks okay at best. But, most of them look unbelievably stupid. They should've just stuck to making this a regular straight up crossover game between the two. All this other stuff is unnecessary, the only other mode I like so far is the "cross combat" mode when all 4 characters are on the screen at once, fighting each other. Other than that mode, this game is starting to look more and more terrible... in my opinion, of course.

There are several characters who swap costumes with other characters already in the game. Then there are named characters in the descriptions on the site that make me think the unrevealed characters are hinted at through these costume swaps. However some characters are not named - Panda, Charlie and Angel, just referenced to so they're likely not to be playable at all. Then again, Kuma is only referenced to in Zangeif's, not named.

Sagat doesn't really look like Dragunov compared to what Kazuya is wearing. Which is weird since the rest is a swap between franchises.

I believe this is the tekken side of customization, And capcom does the color edit, just like Capcom VS Snk 2. SWEEEET! Violent Ken , Here i Come!!! Now i Just Wanna See Akuma and Birdie and maybe Eagle too!

Nina is in Chun Li costume but Chun is in Panda costume.
Cammy is in King costume but King is in Alex costume.
Rufus is in Ryu costume but Ryu is in Ogre costume.
Etc.
"Swap" might just be a weak translation. I think it just means that each character has a costume of a character from the opposite title. May or may not be a character in the game.
Which brings the question, what is Kazuya & Sagat wearing?
Who wanna bet money that Alex is partnered with Charlie as Abel is partnered with Guile in this game? I already kno they are in the game due to the quotes by Seth " fighters we haven't played as in a while..." Charlie has been missing in sf since his " unfortunate death". I bet yu! Lol

First of all - I dont like when someone trying to sell crap to the people, if you cant make anything cool - dont make it.
I like Capcom games, but their dlc are meh..
Cause 99% of their skins/costumes totally uninspiring, boring and ugly, they should at least sell 'em not via packs, but as standalone skins for a small fee each.
But that wont happen, cause they just want to farm some free money out of this.

Just look at the design of those costumes they'r offering, looks like some 14 y.o. school kids are involved for sure.

This is the best announcement for SFxT in a long time. I'm glad they included this feature, I loved doing this stuff in Soul Calibur.
Well the costumes are dlc that customizing the hair,clothes, well thats in the game i guess its a reminder of Soul Caliber games soo they did it with street fighter x Tekken wow i din't expect to see that in street fighter and tekken game at same time lol
Damn Rolento styled Nina is sexy as hell. I am mad that Capcom manage to give her a sexier costume than her own company managed to do. The same goes for Poison styles Lili.

Well this was a cool idea until I found that these were costumes instead of interchangeable parts?
That's a waste. They could have had something going with this but they cut off their own foot again.
To further add on I think that custom colors should be a standard in fighting games. I really get sick of using these lame colors capcom decides to develop. Seriously...

Guys, I'm not so sure these are dlc... they may be out-the-box accessories. I mean, showing people crap they are gonna have to pay extra for before all the characters are even revealed... I think maybe... just maybe... Capcom's heart may have grown a bit three sizes for this game. They normally say "DLC Costumes" when they are, well, dlc costumes, but they aren't saying that.

Re-posting my post from SRK to aid analysis:
-The first header appears to be "Costume(?): Original," which confirms to me that we'll be able to edit the alt costumes as well.
-Second header appears to be "Costumes(?): Custom1," which says to me we might be able to save multiple color edits per costume.
-The color swatches are the next categories, seperated by parts (Skin1, Skin2 Hair, Clothes1-5, Pants 1 and 2?)
-Then below that, you have four boxes, but only the first two change in color during the transition from normal Nina to the custom one; It appears that there is some sort of cursor that moves from the first to the second box, in the transition from the first to second screenshot.
EDIT: Okay, the four boxes are definitely tied to each part and appear to be color selection, though I dunno fully. The boxes besides black and white have some text over them ([Something] 1 and [Something] 2). Besides that, they are showing the current color of the part, and they also match each other, thus not giving much choice. It might because the game is still in development, of course. Maybe we select one of those boxes and set a custom color, and white and black are there just to give us easy access to absolute white and black? We'll see.
P.S.: Shadoloo logo and maybe Mishima Zaibatsu logo in the background and a "paper file" sort of menu design. :o

This is MUCH better than I thought. If these were just alts I would have been really disappointed. But the fact that you can customize a bunch of different parts could be really sweet. Let's just hope the fighting game community has a good sense of style and makes some cool alterations!

I believe this customization is going to packed in the game and won't be DLC, although I won't be surprised if this turns out as DLC.
If it is packed into the game then congrats to Capcom. The costumes might not be the best to some eyes (I'm cool w/ them), but I have read from various posts on this website and among others sites people asking for some sort of customization along the lines of Tekken's customization. Again, you can't say Capcom isn't listening to fans. I'm all for it.
