I can understand being able to build meter under Uroboros or Mad Beast since they're level 3's, but man...
I'm glad ultimate is about to be out because of they're improvements and nerfs... I'm tired of seeing the SAME characters and the SAME team set-ups. It wasnt as bad as mvc2 but it was still annoyingly bad. Now that these combo vids are out, ppl can start picking character like Ryu. Even tho I bet you that Ryu had a lot of fans and follows but those frauds sold out to pick top tier lol. I just dont get it... unless you're going for evo and other tournaments,... Pick who you like. I main Deadpool, Modok, Spencer + Shuma, skrull, hulk since the beginning and still rack way more wins then losses. This falls on deaf ears but I had to vent it. I can't wait to play ultimate and continue to give you copy cat bandwagon fraud players losses and have you rage quit to save the record you hold so dear... (even tho it is and will never be near the top of the scoreboard). Muuuahahahahaaaaa!!!!
Only problem I have with alot of the combo vids for umvc3 is most of them seem to start in the corner. Alot of things are possible in the corner that wouldn't normally be possible, example is alot of those Ryu combos, and Haggar's infinite, Hulk's Infinite (or at least it looked like an infinite) That Iron Man loop most likely wouldn't have worked either.
I'd like to see more combos from mid screen, so I know what the character is truely capable of.
Ummm the ryu combos work mid screen. Isnt it obvious that that he is doing a hurricane kick and moving foward? I even put that wesker and trish combo starting mid screen and ducking just to hold peoples hand and show them that it works anywhere. Even though again I think its pretty obvious. Only thing that is corner specific with ryu ever is the link after shinkuu hadoken. Sigh... Anywhay.. Thanks for anyone who has anything nice to say... And I guess since my second video didnt seem to get posted.. here it is if anyone cares...

I think that combo may be possible in Vanilla. he had good combos before, just his gameplay overall wasnt great. Hopefully his combos are better.

Since I do not play Ryu I wouldn't know that the tatsu would possibly drop out if they were not in the corner. So I think showing combos that work anywhere on screen in the center of the screen clears up confusion simply because of corner specific combos etc. Thanks for the video, Ryu looks scary @~@
