Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3's official release is right around the corner now but with many people getting the game early there are tons of footage of combos and technology coming out everyday.

Up first we have EnvyHD doing some pretty interesting Vergil combos.

Deelaneejah created a video showing how Vergil's normals can go up against a fireball.

Double F sent in a video he created showing off some quick high damage combos for both Frank West and Iron Fist.

It's stupid how Capcom balanced the game. Instead of reducing the damage they reduced the health of the characters. So now, it's even easier to 1 hit kill. These combos didn't involve assists and they do so much damage already. At least with vanilla you had to spend 2-3 bars to do it. Now you can probably do it with just one bar.

but he was using the Wesker OTG assist but to be fair since Wesker will still likely be seen highly the Vergil/Wesker combonation will likely be a staple

@1 You and me both. I made the mistake of not learning Dante in the first version. I'm not going to repeat that mistake with Vergil. I'm going to learn his combos inside out.

#2 I think you mean you wish you lived in New York. They get every game early. The only downside is that you wont get any DLC with the game.

Have you guys seen the second video? Vergil's normal moves can negate/nullify projectiles! Now that's impressive.

Vergil's taunt builds meter and is apparently hyper cancellable. You can see him use the taunt after the She-Hulk combo, where he builds like half a meter.

Amazing.

Why are people singling out Vergil as a game breaker when the other new characters have such high potential?

Vergil/Wesker is good because though they both need meter to end combos, they can do a great deal of damage without meter as well. I like how capcom did that because it suits their personalities since they both want things done quickly and effectively to get the demanded job done.

Some people are mad X ain't in well as a DLC costume and I'm cool with that he's like MMX6 version I like all the alternates they are sick
As for Vergil my god I can hear the whining already but this game is looking dang good love the scarlet spider alt and ronin hawkeye

Personally X is over hyped I prefer a megaman from either starforce megaman or aile from megaman zx because she is a woman and technically a megaman.

@#34(Viz) tktktk45 is actually right. There are people who's health actually got nerfed. Sentinel, Phoenix, Akuma I believe are the only three. Correct me if I'm wrong. You don't know what you are talking about lol.
