Famitsu reviews Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, receives 33 out of 40 score

Famitsu magazine posted their review of Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, with four staff members giving the title 9 - 9 - 8 - 7 out of 10 marks, totaling out to a 33 out of 40 score.

This is the same total score Famitsu magazine gave vanilla Marvel vs. Capcom 3 in February, but how the numbers broke down were a bit different back then, as their squad gave it 8 - 8 - 8 - 9 out of 10 marks at that time.

Vanilla Marvel vs. Capcom 3 ended up with an 85 and 84 out of 100 score on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, respectively, on Metacritic's website, which was based on fifty six review publications.

The embargo should be lifted pretty soon and reviews from all over the web will be flooding in for UMvC3, so stay tuned.

But anyway, I wasn't expecting the score to be too great because Japan hates Marvel. Does anyone know when the embargo actually lifts?

y els would they review it? just for the fun of it?......NO! because they want to inform you on if its worth your money. DAMN you guys are idiots. plus the only reason i sed that was because i was being sarcastic because the scores were basically the same when mvc3 sold 2 million.

The two really aren't connected at all, unless you're suggesting that people always consult Famitsu review scores before deciding if they should buy a game, and that's the only factor? The reason I asked you that question is because your attempt at sarcasm didn't make any sense, and was completely unnecessary. DAMN you must be dumb.

I've never really been a big Marvel fan. I played MVC3 and I thought I did pretty well at it. At the end of the day though, I won't be buying UMVC3. The game just doesn't appeal to me enough. It's great that Capcom are providing an update for a small niche of gamers. Will it sell well? I don't think so.

Fighting games are a love or hate thing. And even within the relatively small ranks of fighting game fans, there's a segregation as to which fighting games you enjoy. This makes the targeted audience even smaller.

Marvel needs to exist for the people who love it, but this update really should have been a digital one.

Spider-Man isn't all that good¿ Japan hates Marvel¿¿ Oh the humor. The tokusatsu Spider-Man isn't the only Japanese Spider-Man, I should know as I watch them, and read the others.
Spider-Man J is pure shounen though. We love Marvel as well, so please don't go saying who we hate just like that.
