Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 Phoenix Wright big combo damage

Im still scared of this dude and how fast he can go into Dark Phoenix mode

3 more days and I can start digging for evidence!

Good luck opening anybody up with this trash-house character; let alone getting in.
and before you state it, or ask...YEAH I'M MAD.

I spidersense a nerf coming real soon to this characters. Remember all the complaining with Sentinel when vanilla came out and they nerf him, it doesn't take a private eye to see this coming.

Guess I'll find our later I just bought the game around my way they had early copies. Should have bought the ps3 version though. Xbox control sucks

#5 Try the new Silver Xbox Controller it works way better than the old ones that come with the console.

@4 Yeah but Sentinel had the most health and the most damage out put.

To look for evidence you have to NOT fight your opponent. Any character with projectiles, a teleport or a strong rushdown (hint: thats all the cast)will overpower Wright.

#5 Buy a Mad Catz Stick, or Fight Pad.

On topic: Phoenix Wright is absurdly overpowered in turnabout mode, and isn't hard to turn into it as people said a simple TAC make it very easy. I wonder how long it will take for the patch.

Half the damage done by a hyper and a combo no one will use because they'll keep spamming f.H and then fingers. Also I could figure it out just by seeing the f.H mode, easy easy.
Not impressed.

@3: I think this dude will be insane lol. Have you seen his inspection mode or w/e its called? Maya is an insane assist, sure people will chase him to death but he has 1M HP + you can find all 3 evidence in 3 Marvel secs for no bar/lasts long + best assist in the game + best normal in the game + best level 3 in the game + Projectile spam to death

He probably won't be as good as Im thinking, but he won't be useless = tough up and play whoever you like :D

Just some extra salt, I rather have Arthur do the most damaging combos (oh man, how I wanted that to be true...) than a stupid lawyer.

That said, he has like no way to open people up lol, so in the end he won't be that good. Def. not lower than Mid tier though imo

@4, Sentinel can fly around the screen, has a double jump AND armoured normals. PW's mobility looks terrible, but he makes up for it in power. :]

Either way, it's too early to say who's going to receive nerfs.. Aside from Doom, I know he's going to get nerfed if he's over-used. =\

By the way, this is no biggy. A lot of the cast can kill a character with 4 meters, so meh.

@ 17 u think 4 meters and Turnabout Mode is easy to get or are u just trollin?

He is not that over powered he can't defend at all against rush down from what I've heard.

PW won't be broken, rush down will constantly stop him from getting any evidence at all. If a person allows it, then they deserve to get Turnabout'd.

Yeah, from what I've played so far, Wright has a hard time getting in on people unless he's in Turnabout Mode. Even then it's still a challenge. Wright might end up being lower-mid tier, but it's way too early to say as of "wright now". ;)

You're a pretty clever guy, I'd say. You're all wright in my book.

Everybody saying stuff like, "Just rush Wright down when he looks for evidence" are forgetting that he's probably gonna be spamming assists and his uber Maya Modok shield to protect him. Try to rushdown Mr. Wright when his woman's protecting him and he'll combo right through whatever you're doing.

I suspect it's one of those series of combos that seems easy untill you're actually in the ring. especially against a good player. in my case, I dunno if I can pull it off, hell, I can't even pull off a decent quarter circle 'cause I keep accidently going up 1 arrow

Phoenix is still pretty bad. he hits hard, and has objection mode, but that does little for the fact he has poor mobility and has completely unconventional normals, leading to having to relearn the game to use him.
Unconventional doesn't mean good. When people know what to expect, he'll spike in effectiveness. He's just male fan-service IMO. Of course, it's just my opinion.

@4 Real quick on the Sentinel nerf, it was planned long before release they were still testing so I don't think we will see balance changes until the end of next year like they did with SSFIVAE.
