Andrea Rene is so annoying, does she even know what company is making SFxTK ?
I bet Max was forced into doing this train wreck as part of his contract.
Nice to see someone talking about King for the most part. ClackWerk.
French girls are hot! Shes is french right? Andrea Rene, two french names...no?
Keep in mind Maxamillian and Clockwork are getting payed by capcom. So don't expect them to talk negative about the game.
Andrea: "Can you give us a brief synapsis of your history?"
I don't think that word means what you think it means...
@15
It's possible, but any opinion differing from theirs or the hysterical masses is obviously wrong...
I only watched this video hoping that perhaps they let Clockwork play the game with gems to give a full opinion on it, not just to restate that in theory its awesome...we know that already...I was looking to see an opinion of it in action.
im just gonna say something real quick...when SF4 was announced people heard about the FA system and the Ultra Combo system and they thought "WHAT!? No Parry? This Game will be gay (literally some people said gay)."
time flew by and the only people who hate SF4 today are the ones that are REALLY attached to 3S (including me). I still love SF4, but i prefer 3S any day. my point is dont judge this game until you actually try it out.
ClockW0rk doesnt like the gems, u can see how he shifts uncomfortably right before he answers, but wanted to say something nice in front of super sweet and sexy andrea rene. Girl got that effect on people. (Except w/me SHE would have been the one who'd be nervous hehe)
@20
Flexin dem l.a. noire people reading skills :) ever tried it?
Andrea: "Lets talk about the gems...
Clockwork: "The gems open a lot of options and give a lot of potential to characters and help out beginners."
What he meant to say was:
"I don't know why they didn't make this into a seperate mode just for fun. Its a cool idea, but it will definitely complicate competitive play and tournaments. They also need to rethink pandora and bring it back to the drawing board. Comeback mechanics can be fun, but it shouldn't be a waste, and it shouldn't be overpowered. I honestly think Capcom should finish the game and have pro's to test the game before they actually make a release date. That way they won't rush it and make DLC a few months down the line. That is very unprofessional. But then again, we still want Capcom to make games for us, and we don't want another 10 year period of no fighting games created. If your a bit optimistic, you can look on the bright side and say that Capcom doesn't rape your wallet as bad as the creators of Call of Duty and World of Warcraft."
Yeah thats what he meant to say.
@27 Correction, thats what YOU wanted to say. I think Clockw0rk has his opinions but it does'nt make sense bashing something he has not had a chance to play. The difference between being mature and immature obviously.
@9 Her qualifiations is that she is attractive and easy on the eyes. Speaks very passionatly and is a people person. Someone that can speak to anyone regardless of experience and not like a nerd talking about option selects and focus attacks. She's not here to teach you how to play the game she is here to get you excited about the game.
Clockw0rk was asked to give his opinion about the game, just because his opinion was not as negetive as YOUwant it to be does'nt mean he was paid. There is a time and place to voice your opinion about something negetivly, that was not the time.
i like how everyone thinks that their opinion equals the pros/their idols opinion.
(To those who think they're 'tools of capcom' go screw yourself - max and clockw0rk are both doing this sh1t for the community, and if you don't think that's right, again, go screw yourself.)
@MonkeyCha0s: "i like how everyone thinks that their opinion equals the pros/their idols opinion."
Their opinions aren't automatically worth more because of who they are. The only meaningful difference is who may have more experience with the game at this point. Otherwise, statements are true or false regardless of who says them.
@36
At this juncture, I would think the opinion of people who have actual experience with the game would be the only opinion worth paying attention to. Right?
I mean, in what scenario would the person with no experience with the game provide the more meaningful opinion?
that bitch lʔoks juicy hot !! WOW !!
Clockwork was shaking on his couch lol...
@29 Good job completely missing the joke, and trying to use the opportunity to be a dick on the internet.
And anyone thinking that these guys weren't somehow compensated for their appearance, and some opinion bending, are in complete denial of how the world works. There is no way Capcom would ever release something, where big name players hate on an aspect of the game they are trying to promote. It would never happen. We already know Max is in Capcoms pocket from the UMVC3 Assist me series (also keep pretending he is doing this solely for the community, and completely neglecting his bottom line, even though he's getting checks from Youtube, Machinima, and Capcom). Clockwork is a bit more complicated, of course it's entirely possible that he really is looking forward to the gems, I mean, he doesn't play street fighter games anyways, he probably likes goofy, stupid mechanics that fit so well in Marvel games, and therefore, will make him more comfortable within a more street fighter oriented game. But if he is against it, then Capcom did something to make sure he said positive things about it.
On a side note: You'd think Clockwork has never sat next to/talked to an attractive girl in his life. I haven't seen someone that awkward around a female since I was in middle school. That was uncomfortable to even watch.
(@33 and you're doing better for the community? I don't see your front page Eventhubs story.
In truth, you are actually the HATER.
Think about this fact I have GRACIOUSLY revealed to you!)
I think people can form an opinion by themselves without needing other people to agree with them or being defensive against people who don't.
Or at least I hope.
@29
"On a side note: You'd think Clockwork has never sat next to/talked to an attractive girl in his life. I haven't seen someone that awkward around a female since I was in middle school. That was uncomfortable to even watch."
Listen the guy is gay and he looks uncomfortable around THIS women. I mean look at the way he carries himself in front of the cute chick. She all laid back, no defense walls up, she even knows he is gay. The info was good nothing ground breaking that we haven't seen already.
It's funny, people that are getting upset at the people who dislike the gems are just as guilty as those who they are calling one-track minded. Just as easily as you claim "The gems are good and you are bad for saying they are bad without information." Well, who are you to claim it good without information? Don't use that "Not enough information" to back up an opinion, because that argument is a two way street.
What if Capcom did pay them to say nice things? It's still a possibility, y'know.
Oh lord.
