For those who missed the Ultimate Norcal vs. Capcom 2 tournament last evening, the IPW crew has uploaded the tournament onto YouTube in two large segments totaling up to three hours. See the followup video after the jump.

@7 yea, and they suck, the goal in using Phoenix Wright in this Ultimate Norcal vs. Capcom 2 is to get "one" objection off and lose/win (mostly they lose). Not saying that Phoenix Wright suck, just that I was watching this yesterday and the announcer said something about that.

I agree hole heartily with the commentators. They actually call people on their cheap bs. And reassure everyone that Raccoon will be just a face on the character selection screen just like Modok.

They tell us why the game needed more Marvel Heroines without actually saying it. So good job to these guys. Novas generic, therefore I would've rather seen a generic Ms. Marvel at the worst.

And ya everyones still gonna use WEsker.

This Norcal tourney paled in comparison to the first one. It just didn't feel as hype. Maybe because people played PW and sucked, so there we less good matches. Crispy tacoz getting blown up hurt my soul, lol Wesker still on that S tier and F Champ haters are still free to F Champ victories then when he loses once they start with the jokes, effectively making them look like idiots.

Also, WHY DIDN'T DACIDBRO AND HIS GODLIKE TEAM OF Cap/Verg/Task PLAY?!

I always thought Skrull was the Dark horse when nobody uses him. Granted I think Champ didn't know the match-up well so maybe that was the factor.

Still I play Spencer and Skrull even dormammu at times and they are solid characters.

Champs proposed team of Ghost Rider, Dormammu, Phoenix does sound like a great team though.

And they were pretty snobby for talking down on the pad player, but I have to admit that it was pretty funny. Even though I'm a pad player myself. What made me upset was how he was recommending that tournies STOP allowing pads, which is the dumbest thing I ever heard.

As for the tournament, I wish there was some solid PW play in this. I'm pretty sure at least half of the Wright players didn't even know how to call Maya.
I don't expect him to be god tier, or anything, but it'd be cool to see someone show what he can do in tournaments.

yeah commentators were annoying as hell. I weren't that bothered with the pad or character hate, as it was just jokes and random bs to fill in dead air. That one guys voice was so whiney and nasal though, had to mute the part i watched.

I lol'd hard at when they were saying about "partying with chicks" and throwing on marvel. One thing i wouldnt do when "partying with chicks" or even "partying" in total would put on game consoles. This isn't the first years of high school lol
