PW's assist is INVINCIBLE and he takes no damage as an assist.
From Seth, when PW's TM "Break the Witness" assist touches the opp. It causes a wall bounce and does the most assist dmg in the game!

As for people saying PW's broken.. Doubt it. He can't even get close to zoners/teleporters, as seen when Dorm/Wright were both on point; lacking in mobility but gets a huge pay-off once in turn about mode.
If his assist ends up being OP, it'll probably get nerfed.
Wait for the game to actually be released before you whine about broken characters.

MvC3's system actually feels like it was tailored made for a pad to me, especially relative to your standard 6 attack setup (see SF4).
Hi Im Nasty is a good inspiration to Pad players, especially people who use the Xbox 360 controller (Analog stick). Everyone always tells me Analog sticks are crap for Fighting games, you have to use the Dpad. I wish I was still a Controller player, but switch to Arcade stick because I perfer the xbox 360 controller over the PS3 for fighting game, but my friends perfer to use the PS3 dpad, even over the arcade stick.

@71 They got tht new Xbox controller with the depressable D-Pad for stuff like fighting games. I heard it's a really good controller but it's really pricy but I might get it and switch to pad one day. I feel i can do certain things on a pad much easier than on a stick.

I tried to tell idiots like Glasstop and Wolfeyes Phoenix will not be useless, limited fireball spam means nothing to real Phoenix players. A real Phoenix Does not spam fireballs unless its safe (Hagger). Long azz DP's Rush and feathers were still unnerfed she will always be high tier. I seen Champ use all the standard tactics Skrull has always been a problem for her, and Nasty is definitely the best Skrull, so I say 9 more months to all the Phoenix Haters out there....Burn into Flames..... Die!!!!

I'm not a Phoenix player but serious fist-bump for spelling out my thoughts on Phoenix. She's still really scary at high level play and there isn't anything wrong with that, you're just gonna have to work harder for her to go dark.
Actually @80 I was thinking about that, Obviously you will need a good meter builder, For DP, but Phoenix Wright's Turnabout is free and if u get it definitely GREATEST BFF's! I Don't even use Level 3 DP anymore because of Unblockable level 2 tech I have with one meter for Jean, but Can u imagine that assist into teleport? the lockdown those two will have together would be godlike, DP's feathers+ PW assist+ Forward M overhead in a corner? too good!...Also because DP still builds hella meter if things go right she will Die leaving PW with enough meter for level 3! so Hell yeah for people who can make Phoenix, Phoenix work, Only true problem will be intial meter building for DP
@78 fist-bump back it baffles me that people who don't even play a character are quick to Judge and think they know everything about the character. When you main a character you know their options, I admit the fireballs were pretty good, but they are so day one I don't know what the hell I'm doing and neither do you tactics...Phoenix is an all-rounder, with good damage output,combo ability, and mix-up capability, on top of that DP is 10 times better at it...Her only weakness is health and to me lowering her health doesn't matter when your goal since vanilla was to not get touched in the first place.... I will never drop this character, she's epic in the marvel universe and deserves to be godlike!

@77 Well it might not seem like it now, but those nerfs hurt phoenix players more than people are admitting to. Meter gaining in general is harder to get for phoenix players. If you noticed it took a lot more work for F champ to get 5 meters. Some matches he even had to do some combos with regular phoenix to gain meter. Now its easy to get 5 meters with down exchange people didn't even try and chip her out which my team could have easily done 370 on block.
Like I said before I guess I'm fortunate because I rarely lose to a phoenix team, but my anchor is super skrull. I also have two other characters that deal with her on point and second, but I wont reveal them.
@86 all I know is she's still viable, she has all the tools I need her to have to still be a great character where she lacks I will surely build a team around that...
And I'm pretty fortunate too since I know the skrull match well enought to know although he's a good pick against her the match-up is not free in his favor, He has his situational kill durning transformation but come who wouldn't be expecting it? Meteror Smash Is all he has really to punish tk's, and U can pretty much bate a skrull into doing it by jumping, or u can wait until he does it and hyper him on the way down thats how I deal with it anyway....
