Continuing on from the last episode, Mike Ross and Gootecks are still training for Canada Cup, by playing Ryu, and Ibuki. Whilst playing they come by a Bison player who trash talks. With pride on the line, they run it back and bring out their main characters.

Excellent Adventures is awesome for the way it goes, with the bragging, salt, irony etc.
Also, at times they even lack the knowledge to do so, like Gootecks asking whether Ibuki can punish deep EX Psycho with Ultra etc.

The thief was actually the best class for me as it started out with the Master Key, and allowed me to reach certain areas quickly in Dark Souls. I loved that game and played it to completion, although it wasn't as difficult as I was expecting.
It seems Demons Souls was the harder game or maybe I got too used to it :P

Ballin's from Hawaii so we play him a lot in ranked out here. He is SUPER annoying and is always like that. I've never met the guy but I won't play him, not because he's the best, but because Bison let's scrubs play like that and then he says that kind of stuff. He's a super troll. I don't mind losing but if your going to be a dick with a huge ego as well, then life is too short for those kind of players.

Sorry guys, I'm a Crosscounter fan, but I love to see a high ranked online player take it to a Tournament Player. It's retribution for all of the "Welcome to Online" BS these guys jab out.
Furthermore, I guess it's only ok for Mike and Gootecks to play lame? To use Gimmicks? Ibuki!?! Blanka!?!

Ballin's concept is "winning ugly". There's also a book about that, written by a tennis player. It's all about distraction, subtle oder not so subtle insults, kicking the other player out of their comfort zone before the match even starts and putting them under a certain pressure, making them either afraid or angry and uncautious.
This often times works on me and I'm suprised to see that it even worked on a very experienced player like Gootecks.
This really is playing to win cause you don't even give a sh!t about your reputation or respect. You don't even care about hurting other people personally.
This really is the lowest level you can reach as player as well as a person. You might be good but who cares? Everybody hates you for good reason. And you will surely never be sponsored.

Agreed. Gootecks plays the lamest Ibuki and Fei Long I've ever seen. His Balrog is pretty lame too. The only character I like watching him play as is Rose. They talk too much crap about stuff other players too, and pat each other on the back for doing basic things. Still <3 Mike's Honda though.
once again thanks for putting this up! that bison player is ok to be honest i don tlike his playstyle but his sh!t talking was really really funny but rude. i hate bison dhalsim blanka vega and a few others in general because of how they fight in general so lame!
I'll let SF4 hibernate until 2012 comes out.
