Vergil's only downsides appear to be that he's a big meter hog and that his assists aren't that stellar.
Aside from that though, he's got insane mixups, great mobility and range, and damn good damage output.

I'm more interested in Nova than Vergil, however. He looks to be a Super-Skrull/Iron Man hybrid with some useful rushdown specials and combo extenders.

I was skeptical about Nova at first, but I think I might replace Phoenix on my Capt. America, Tron, Phoenix team with him because he just looks so awesome! X3

Did anyone else notice that Vergil has Dante's Stinger animation at 03:31/03:32? But anywho, great stuff from Max, love his work.

I can already see the dreaded Dante,Vergil,Strider teams.Nova looks solid definetely giving him a spin.Most excited for RR,Nemesis,and Dr.Strange.Gona shuffle them in with some of the old cast to get a mighty crushing team.

Vergil actually uses a different sword for Stinger (more specifically, Force Edge/pre-Sparda) and he normally holds the sword on his back.

Vergil will likely be on every team in the beginning, especially for beginners, but will most likely die down, I'm just hoping Nemesis wont be used too much, then i can stomp everyone >:D

this red health situation with nova is disturbing, i'd rather he would loose red health if you mash buttoms, i fear you'll loose health to fast with him, still he looks better as more videos show up

Nova looks sick. You can use him as a sacrificial point character and burn his red health early. Or you can save him to be your anchor and after XF runs out or if you use it early you can get bonus damage out of him by burning his red health. Sounds great since there is no way to recover it alone with no XF.

Sounds to me like a great setup would be like point character, 2nd character who uses lots of bars, Nova anchor as all his supers are level 1 you don't need to have many saved up.

Vergil is my most anticipated new character. In vanilla, I always wished he was in instead of Dante, even though I knew that was crazy talk.

Vergil and Spectator Mode are my biggest reasons for buying UMvC3, plus the obvious migration of the player population.

Damn. So Kikosho is even more worthless now.
