This week GameSpot details Ryu and Sentinel's alternate colors in Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3.

Wow, with all this Rocket Raccoon and Frank West hype, I completely forgot about these. Yeah, Ryu looks kind of meh as a Ken clone, but the rest look pretty neat.

no ken and no megaman, and the best thing we get is alt costume to remember those characters that we wanted in the first place.. Capcom just keep laughing at us.... mvc3 vanilla owners have the right to rant umvc3.. That is the right we get for getting rip off.

#9 - As it's been said, Ryu and Ken are far too similar. Ryu is in because he is the face of Street Fighter, not Ken.

@10 they made the same reference when they showed off Sentinel's colors for vanilla MVC3. In fact, they stated that video was the only reason they included the mango color scheme as they felt it was a part of MVC's history

at last we have the Satsui no Hado ni Mezameta Ryū (or simply Evil Ryu) colour! That was one thing I felt he was missing and they missed it up with black Gi and white headband (quite sure it was white anyway lol)

Believe it or not, there was a TON of people asking for Ken, so this is actually the best move they could've done, bravo Capcom.

Should be. At no point have they said these color schemes require a vanilla MVC3 save. In fact I don't think they've announced ANY bonus for having a vanilla MVC3 save.

These are all available from the start, and they are all the new colors, some were replaced, but everyone has 6 colors.

For example, Spiderman's green/black alt is now his red/black one, permanently.

They tried to do a Ken Ryu style, cool! conseguirarm was more to turn it into Naruto (Laughing so ).... Sentinel of the first image is excellent, identical to the version MvsCap2 ... the other, nothing to do ...

Surprisingly, a good amount of people have asked for Ken. Not many on this site (although I can remember a few forums that had people sad that Ken didn't make it during the vanilla reveals) but general populous wanted Mr.SRK in this game as well.

Now they have him: blonde hair, red gi, Hadoshoryuken and all that stuff that makes Ryu instantly into Ken.

Why do people keep saying that Ken is a clone of Ryu. Ken has a stronger attribute in shoryuken while ryu excels in the hado. Akuma plays pretty similar to ryu and Capcom was able to make it work. Anyways, if you've played ken in previous vs games you'd know that ken is way way different from both ryu and akuma. His projectile doesn't travel full screen and his hypers are very unique. Plus, who doesn't want to make a shoto team?

While you claim Zero is a mix of "Megaboy" you must surely mean that he has a buster and thats it. Otherwise you would know in all the Megaman games, Megaman would best be described as a zoning character with Zero having a rush style. If wanting a character in a game means being a fag then mostly everyone including yourself must be 1.

Perhaps they wanted the yellow so it becomes a Capcom color (blue and yellow.) Kinda like with Ryu's 3rd color. M. Bison's Super Turbo color? Also a Capcom color.

Guys if they come out with Ken, Dan, Sean or whoever, it's just gonna tick a lot of people off, Akuma was barley stretching it but since he was a better Ryu than Ryu people just played Akuma, now Ryu is unique and stronger.

If we are gonna have SF characters, lets get some others liek Bison or Urien or someone else.
