Gonna need to mess around with Frank a while to figure out exactly in what situations taking pictures will level him up.
It's not a "how many pictures you take" thing, since sometimes he'll take three pictures and suddenly be level 4, and other times (like in the above videos), he'll spam camera all day and nothing happens.
Awesome glitch in that second video where RR gets hit with Penance Stare.
I'm just glad Rocket Raccoon has a British accent. The lack of Groot is manageable. Although when I first saw the tree log trap, I thought it was Groot's fist for a second.

It's not over yet, there's still possible DLC or another update so you probably see a new Marvel female representative.
On another NOte, Rocket Raccoon was a great idea and in terms of Balance in size makes perfect sense. He's the only short Marvel character near the size of Viewtiful Joe in the game, and plus he also balances out Chris on Capcom being a weapons expert (Deadpool is not even close compared to Rocket or Chris in terms of tons of firearm weapons). Deadpool only use regular guns as his firearms.

Oh my gosh, I didn't realize how abysmally low Racket Raccoon's hp was. I knew it was low, but not THAT low.
Proof= 1:40 on video 2. Ghost Rider's level 3 that does 400k does (it looks like) exactly 2/3rds of his HP. That puts him at exactly 600k. Damn.
Still gonna play him of course, and he needs to have hp that low, he looks SO good.
Well I would be on-board for more female characters like PsyKnife Mentioned but he doesn't have to be so negative about the roster that we got now.
I would be stoked if there was more DLC of characters BTW. It's all up too capcom Though. As ti stand it doesn't look likely that anything will happen for DLC other than Heroes and Heralds.
I like with what I see with Frank, he's way better than his TvC version easily. At first I thought he was going to be more like the TvC version which I was like Meh, that sucks, but now I'm like wow!
Love the fact that Rocket Raccoon has burrowing. I see why they balance the traps to disappear when hit because Rocket would be broken. He'll have too many advantages with that, with what he already has.

Not much female heroine made it because the majority of lead character for their respective franchise is a male.

Devil May Cry = Dante
Ghost rider = Ghost Rider
Dr Strange = Dr Strange
etc. etc. etc.

I'm a huge Megaman fan and I'm very disappointed he isn't in the game. But I just look for other characters I want to play.
If sexism is such a huge concern you should complain to Marvel/DC for not publishing more series with a female lead, and Capcom for not developing characters like Samus.
These Japanese voices in the first video are PITIFUL. Especially Phoenix Wright. How can anyone prefer this garbage?
That aside, Rocket and Frank still look fun as hell. Rocket's HP evidently looks very low as well, which makes sense I suppose.

Well Capcom said they will add more to the game if UMvC3 sells are good.
They know there's still more demand that needs to be there. Same here, I would love more Marvel women.If we got just one more I'd be happy, but two more is as far as it needs to go. I want the Silver Surfer in over any other character, but I'm not complaining.
The Marvel females I'd like to see are:
Misty Knight
Dust
Moonstone (sorry she's better than Ms. Marvel, and she was Ms Marvel)
Spider Woman
I think Psylocke would be better than Elektra, but it could only be one of them that should be in. It would be interesting to see what they could do with Elektra though. I can picture her using The Hand as extra attacks like Captain Commando does with his companions.
Song Bird would be awesome because no one use sound powers in the game and those wings would look cool for flying.
So Misty Knight, Moonstone, Dust, Elektra, Spiderwoman, and Song Bird would be best in my opinion in terms of gameplay not just being a Marvel female.

Characters don't belong in a game because they are female, male, black, white, etc. etc., they belong in the game because they are 1.) interesting, 2.) fan favorites for those who play Capcom fighting games and read comics, 3.) ways of promoting relevant Marvel/Capcom properties. Obviously none of the characters you listed are deemed to fit those categories.

Jean Grey easily counts as 100 women considering she's invincible and stronger than 90% of the whole roster on MvC3 canonically speaking. Not only that, but you talking about tier whores using wolverine when Jean was God-Tier and won Evo and many tournaments after that is inane. How about one GDLK Girl instead of a bunch of crappy useless ones that bring no uniqueness to the current roster? And Jean is still very good in UMVC3 considering air X-Factor.

I will say also Marvel/Capcom failed to add females, but remember there is DLC! I could imagine the first being something like the "Fem Fatal's/Fighters pack".

While i agree with Pyslocke , emma , scarlet and some others could be used ...i'd say that short of MS marvel , Sue Storm , Scarlet witch , you still got the most popular and/or strongest Marvel female characters . The Male side is also still missing some big guns .
I'd also say that Black Widow doesnt even qualify . She's too often being used so far as exotic russian eye candy .
Her spot would only be explained by being further eye candy in current and future movies .
As a game character , she brings nothing truly useful that might not end up being utterly boring , unless we put some major faith in Capcom's imagination . There are already enough hand to hand chars , or gun users ...
Unlike a modok or say viewtiful joe , she doesnt seems to bring potential for new gampelay mechanics , not any sense of zaniness and crazy fun .

Isn't this the point? When I first saw these characters I didn't like nova or RR in the game but Capcom did there job. They made not widely known characters into some great characters for this game. I don't find it a problem that people jump on the "bandwagon" now as oppose to at first because not many knew of them. I come to Eventhubs on behalf of robots everywhere. There aren't enough robots in UMvC3 and none were added in with the 12 new characters. I demand this be fixed immediately, until then this is an unjust world in which robots are discriminated against. In UMvC3 there are more humans than robots and that's bad. Do I think there should have been more females on the Marvel side? Possibly. Do I think there should have been more blacks or latin or asian characters on the Marvel side? Possibly. Do I think you can make EVERYONE happy? No. Do I think this is the place to constantly complain about it and place your character list on every article? Absolutely not.

Honestly, I don't know yet. I think the point was to make it so if you got one combo off on him and ended it with a hyper, he'd die. That's because of his insane keep away game, his seemingly amazing assist, and his small size (smallest in the game?). I think its probably fair, and I intend to play him despite his stamina.

Point character
Battery, and Anchor? Are their more than that? I think point character is to have them in battle first. What im trying to debate is should I have rocket be the first character (Point?) or have him be used as an assist or anchor?

Point = Who you have first; Or, who you have active. Optimally, your best character.
Battery = A character designated to primarily build meter for the other characters to use. Optimally, someone who can deal a good amount of damage or control space effectively without meter.
Anchor = Your last character. Someone who can optimally close out the match and doesn't necessarily need assists to do so.
That's pretty much it.
OK psyknife or ForceCoverage or whatever you want to be called. answer me this if you are so pro woman then why do you not protest against the fact that most female hero's inluding the ones you put on your list all have to look like supermodels and caracters like Amanda waller are often left out?

I would put him second, he seems to have a great assist and you want to take advantage of that, but at the same time he doesn't have the stamina or the damage output to make for a good anchor, so that further reinforces him coming second.

Lol indeed , a least one the characters she spammed ad nauseam were little more in Marvel hands' than eye candy .
Another Psylocke , was literally killed by Marvel for close to no reason , then brought back to satisfy the whim of an ageing and declining star writer .
He himself didnt know what to do with her , and even after him , she was shuffled around in books without a real purpose ...
Then finally landing into currently leading a team in Uncanny X force . Bottom line is only NOW is she coming back to the frontstage , and she was a nobody or dead between the end of the 90s to most of the 00s .
Hardly the superstar in current circonstances she spoke off .
PS : i happen to love most of the characters she mentioned , even if i seem harsh on them .
I dont necessarily believe they got more right per se , than the sh*tload of missing marvel known characters or newer ones .
Again for all her complains , bare a few , she still got the most popular and powerful Marvel women in the game .
@134 Rocket can be a good point character, but as with any keepaway character that you plan to use on point, you better have a good assist to get people off you. From what I've seen, Rocket doesn't have many up close options and is very vulnerable when people attack when they're right on top of him. Same with Arthur. So get a good assist to help cover the vertical space. I use Trish's Peekaboo with Arthur, since he's so short, he can stand right under the Peekaboo trap and if anyone jumps over his onslaught of projectiles and try to attack him from above, they'll get trapped, leading to a combo. Nemesis' armored assist and Iron Fist's flying kick are good to get people off you if they're too close and you need room to breathe.

RR is going to be on a few of my proposed teams. I'll have to really work on synergy over putting my favorites together this time in UMvC3.
Right now, my main stable of characters I want to play are Shuma, Tron, X-23, Trish, Ghost Rider and RR.... I'll figure something out, lol.

im loving all this garbage about marvel being a sausage fest. Take a look at every character who isnt white asian or alien/demon and see if women are being represented in this game or minorities. Honestly stop whinning about women being in the game, capcom has produce more games with Female leads than they have minority hell i cant think of a capcom game with a minority main character who wasnt a sidekick
...not sure how I feel about Phoe-... I mean "Naruhodo-Kun's" VA... at all. But that ending in the first video was great.
I thnk it's more about which character will bring something to the table. For example,everyone wants Ms.Marvel but based on her powers, there are other characters that fills her role already. They just happen to be male. I think character variety comes before gender. You would'nt want a female character that end up beign useless because she's no different from this guy, or that guy. It would be the same Rch Man/Poor Man Magneto situation.
I'm seeing a lot of legit-ness from every character, which is great!
