@#1 Speakertag I don't think people who complain actually care if they release these shadow modes packs. I think what people are mad about is the fact that they won't even tell us why there was only one costume pack released, and why they won't give us thew ability to spectate matches and save replays.
who really cares about these shadow modes..... they are like fighting the computer in offline mode

There's nothing Special about these packs at all. There should of been a mode or even in Arcade for you to fight with team that are organized together instead of just randomness. Like you should of been able to fight against X-men, Street Fighters, on the same team,and also villains on the same team(not just the end before Galactus) and etc etc. I don't care what people say, these shadow mode dlc's are just there to get your money and is not necessary because you can do all of that in Training mode and it's more challenging. Yeah it's 1 dollar, but when it's 1 or 2 million people downloading this useless mode, their actually making good money.
Are they ever going to release new costumes, or something worth while? This shadow mode is completely pointless.
netherrealm have done a much better job on fan service with mk9 than capcom have done with mvc3. for mk9 they included a lenghty story mode, something dat was annoucned for mvc3 but didnt happen. they put in a cool lenghty challenge mode, as opposed to this shadow BS which people have to pay for. they also included alternate cosutmes in the game to unlock, as opposed to releasing them as seperatley to buy.
oh and in terms of characters, mk9 included pretty much every classic fan favrorite character whereas mvc3 took out many of the classic marvel and capcom favorites and replaced them with crappy ones no one even cares about. take out icons like gambit, strider, cyclops & megaman and throw in some others dat no one really cares about, yeh great idea -_-
@10 i have myself baught all of them and mostly for one reason titles but i only find a couple of them usefull as training i actually used them instead of arcade to get the titles that require u to use a chracter thirty times to achieve but mehh there allright i myself will buy just to get the titles and also theres really only like three more

if you gave another reason like what #13 said getting it for the titles then it would've been fine..
but you're using it for training?? WTF?! what's the whole point of training mode where you can pick the same 3 characters in the shadow mode packs with specific assists but for FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.. CAPCOM said they're the characters that real people use.. but they're still AI..
