Pongko vs. Infiltration.....like damn, I've seen these guys at almost EVERY Korean Grand Final.
Pongko continues to amaze me. I don't know how much time he puts in every day but the fruits of his labor are showing. To pick Seth and stick with him is quite an undertaking. It's hard enough learning a strong Akuma, but Seth takes soooo much damage. One mistake and you are done. It's really impressive.
I wonder if he is going to Evo? Would love to see how his Seth does against everyone else.
I don't think most pros know the match up that well because lets face it, who else plays Seth that well?
Also, Pongko found a use for Akuma's U2!
Would like to see Pongko rip up Daigo's Yun :-)
I think Daigo only picked Yun because he's Pro now right? I mean, this is how he makes his living, through sponsorships (Madcatz, Capcom, etc... per the funny marketing video of him challenging the US at MvC3...)
Wow, great matches and splendid execution. It's because of his execution that he can comeback like that, also note that Seth's health got a buff in Arcade Edition.
Execution isn't everything, but the higher the level of play, the more critical a factor execution becomes.
@#5: Don't worry about EVO. Poongko's attending a much bigger tournament in Shadowloo Showdown and he has to face some of the best players Japan has to offer, so we'll finally see how he stacks up against the best of the best.
poongko should leave this piece of sh*t called seth and play real characters.infiltration will always better than him cause of his schoolyard mentality and his show-ofness .
in evo he will be destroyed in no time,even gooteks will rip him off.....
the only ones youll need to watch out for is infiltration and laugh...
@FERDI
stay in the FADC cool combo mentality,stay there...
lol, must be humiliating to be a yun tournament player and lose to seth...
Have they got this on consoles already in japan? How are they playing cos doesn't seem like cabinets.
@30 They are on cabinets dude, they are sitting opposite each other.
I guess this shows that Poongko can beat Infiltration. Also, that was the best comeback I've ever seen.

Your idiotic comment just makes me laugh. To say that all anybody at EVO would need to worry about is Laugh and Infiltration is hilarious, because Poongko always beats Laugh and Infiltration. He beasts on Laugh everytime, and Infiltration and him go back and forth all the time... no one owns the other. Poongko had some of the best points I've ever seen on PSN too... scratch that, he did have the best PP and BP accumulation I've ever seen on PSN w/ cheating, and that was his Japan account. I laugh that you say Gootecks will beat him, like that's a put down. Gootecks is very good, very underrated. Poongko is way more underrated than him though in terms of how good Poongko really is. Poongko has proven, multiple times, that he is one of the best players in the business. You can be naive, but I find it rather hilarious. Just goes to show how dumb some SSF4 players are... haha. Wow, that's all I have to say.
Poongko is very good. i'm not sure why people think he is no good. Poongko vs Infiltration tournament records are kind of even. Almost every tournaments in Korean are those two. lol
Korean's Yun and Yang will not win tournaments as long as those two are in it. haha this tells you, the player is more important.
Samurai 16 - he's friends with Ono the producer, and he just made a marketing video for Capcom MvC3 (for which he was wearing the t-shirt at Evo). I think he was probably given the heads up about Yun. Nobody picks a main before the game comes out. Daigo is important to Capcom.
I work in marketing. None of this stuff just happens. Especially Daigo making a "challenge" to the US in a video...Daigo! The most mild mannered, humble player around.
Street Fighter is big business and Daigo is the star. Like it or not.
@Beehol
what idiotic comment i said,that poongko ratio against infiltration is sh*t,i saw infiltration once doing 15 set to 0 on poongko,that among pro players he got the skill and exucution but lack the discipline? and the ''reality'' of things in big tourney? level ,buddy is acquired by playing against the top american and japanese not on some semi pro who compete only nationally?
why i gave you laugh and infiltration ,thats because of each one has participated numerous time in worldwide championship.
you really make laugh on one point though,you think that those random SRK-FADC-SPDs can work each time against pro,lol,maybe the average guy like me and you ,yes.
Also this SRK-FADC-SPDs is quite simple:
its all about the theory of jab jab grap,but instead of the grapp its an SRK FADC,eita the jap gouki player is famous for it.
again im not trash talking anyone the way you think,its just i'm giving my opinion on hundreds of matchs if not thousands,cause believe i was one of his biggest fan(poongko) but the show-ofness of korean player prevent them for going further in the competion,example:
the last round between infiltration and poongko,infiltration did the stupidest(if that word exist)in the world:he started a combo FADC combo instead of an ultra.
for the guys who know the jap sf4 scene,there was an incredible gouki player called K66 called the god of combo,but cause of his show-of playstyle keep losing in tourneys,also third strike there the same stuff with a red urien player called messatsu who knows charge partition like his own hand,but guess what no one achieved anything,
if you think owning all korean competition is the highest achievement,better think twice.
again just an opinion but im already seeing MALDA's fangs...
Good thing he's not allowed to play boss version of Seth!!!
Something really bugs me about how DBKOOPA pulls his entire hand from his stick and goes to touch/scratch his nose or ear or any other part of his face every time he takes a hit.
@1 zUkUu
What a very e-thug comment of you to make.
If you watched that first set and saw no highlight-worthy play there you obviously lack an understanding of the game. Don't make a cool guy comment because the gameplay is over your head.
@38
sorry man I don't agree with some of what you're saying about that srk cancel spd, I main Seth no where near a level of poongko but I'm up there in the top on psn. There's a hell if alot more going on than jab jab grab. His execution is great if he hit confirmed that srk than he adjusts on a dime. Seths spd is very different than giefs in that the grab range is very small, if he attempted that same spd w/o the cancel chances are it won't work. Fir Seth to land that grab its either because the opponent is either just turtle-img or you have to set it up with a tick. I do think poongkodoes gets very cocky though in his matches and I think that does hold him back. His execution is top notch but he needs to adjust better to a safer play when he's in the trenches. I've seen alot of his fights go badly because he's got one speed of all out going nuts, and that's when he gets reckless.
@danny2times
i didnt know that jab jab srk was that difficult,thanks for clearing that,youre right about the safe play stuff,his reckless rush down is good against someone who dont know him,but after 2 or 3 sets ,punishes will be severe specially a mistake and your dead.
I watched the first video and that is clrealy no "highlight" at all. lol maybe another one would be a better front video.
