Makoto is the new (or old) Viper: high execution, lots of mix-ups and they're both horrible characters.
I wish I could give these players the respect they deserve, but the ball punching gets old really quickly.

i heard the term vanilla to describe many "original" versions of games before but chocolate is totally new to me, it wasn't just made on the spot was it? then again how many games have more than two versions for the term chocolate to be used lol, i suppose it's better than saying "orignal super street fighter IV"
Yeah vryu is great but in the end its just him making good reads using a decent character.. like with guy and other characters that have to rely on shenanigan based and very risky setups just to open up the opponents defense is not rewarding at all in high lvl play. At least in AE people will now fear her because she will be able to armor break which was one of her big weakness.. I mean just giving her an even faster dash and armor break. and look how high she goes up the list. I find it interesting and believable of how capcom says that they have to be careful when tweaking characters because one small thing can make them the best character in the game. Just think how powerful gief would be if they made his lariat 3 frame start up instead of 4. Just the little things make a huge difference

Classic Makoto, she was the most underrated character in SSF4. Unfortunately now it's possible she'll become just another band wagon fighter for uninspired players because of few buffs.

s.HP hayate cancel s.MP, s.MP x3 links, really bad range on her light and EX kara grabs so you HAVE to learn her kara karas, very high focus on footsies/normals, TK/low ax kicks, various difficult timed meaties as hitconfirms, etc.
my prediction is lots will flock to Mak in AE but will drop her in 1 week. Most people dont have the cahones to stick with a character and learn all the ins and outs
