wow Viper gameplay was real sick. Never saw that before on the stream

Good shiz. Altho I miss some of the energy/hype overall in this game. There were some match deciding moments where 2 chars got hit at the same time for E.G but the commentators just continue to talk about their dayly life, or general game stuff lol.

I live in New York and tried to keep interested, but I can't stand to watch this stream anymore. Except for a few players, it's pretty much all the same tier whore teams you see online. Wesker, Dante, Phoenix, Sentinel, Wolverine, Akuma, Zero, Tron assist spam... blah

Really repetitive compared with WNF.

Man every single player in the AE tournament used Yun. They should just call it SSF4: Yun Edition.

So this is what AE is gonna be like? All Yun mirrors all the time? Im disgusted. His dive kick is so fast it looks like he teleports to the ground. Not to mention it does 1200 chip dmg.

Divekick is a command normal, so no chip damage.
Also, Rufus divekick is just as fast and can be done lower on the ground.

One advantage to Yun's divekick though is he can adjust the trajectory of it based on the strength of kick used.

There's an easy remedy for the Yun mirror match: don't pick Yun.

Wow....ppl thought I was being serious? Thats pretty sad. I was being sarcastic because there were no Yuns yet everyone complains about him.

I thought it was mentioned before that they aren't really any big time Yun users I could be wrong the best one I saw was Marn a while back.

People are not whining about Yun, they are whining about a suposed overpowered character.

A lot of top player said Yun is much better than the rest of the cast, and that IMO, is enough to whine about, specially since ono said they were making AE PURPOSELY UNBALANCED.

Fighting games should be balanced, and capcom should strive for the most balanced they can make a game. Ssfiv, IMO, was good enough, even low tiers could compete equally and although there were some powerfull characters ( Honda, Chun-li) they werent that much stronger than the rest of the cast.

If in AE top players predictions about Yun end up being true Capcom screwed up their game. It doesnt matter that is Yun, but THERE SHOULDNT BE A MUCH MORE POWERFULL CHARACTERS THAN THE OTHERS IN A GAME, IT MAKES OTHER CHARACTERS REDUDANT!

Did anyone notice there was no Sentinel in the top 8?

Just goes to show the changing metagame.

That or people couldn't take his 900k health despite his usefulness. Also, there's far more Sentinel plays on the west coast. East coast seems to be tier whores.

People are going to stick to their mains or upgrade secondary characters that got buffed. The wannabes will switch to Yun, realize picking Yun doesn't make you Daigo and go back to what they know.
