Capcom-Unity fleshed out plans today to offer assistance to the Marvel vs. Capcom 3 community, with the help of players like Maximilian, Clockw0rk and Seth Killian.
Here’s how it works: Send a video recording of your match against a human opponent (either online or offline). It doesn’t matter if you win or lose, but ideally one where you and your opponent are fairly evenly matched. Maybe you played well but didn''t see that weakness or pattern in your game that your opponent constantly exploits. Remember, this is meant for you to improve your overall game, so please don’t send in combo videos or 1-character finishes. If you like, feel free to include a play-by-play voice-over or description of your match, as it could help everyone understand some of your gameplay decisions.
To submit a video, head over to the MvC3 Facebook and either upload a video to the wall directly, or post a Youtube link of it. Please keep your video length to 1 match (with default damage and timer settings) and less than 3 minutes. We’re not too picky on video quality, but make sure that it’s clear enough for everyone to see what’s going on. We're aware that not everyone has movie-studio quality equipment, so using your video camera is sufficient.
We strongly encourage everyone to participate. Even if you don't have any videos to post, it'd be awesome to share any helpful advice with your fellow MvC3 player. There will be some cool PRIZES involved. ;)
We’ll be featuring one video a day here on Unity and the MvC3 Facebook starting next week (5/30), so start submitting your videos now!
Help! There is no Mega Man X, Sigma, Bass.exe, Vergil, Carnage, Cyclops, and Gambit in MvC3. Nor is there Spectator Mode. Will these be some of the prizes?
(I don't have a video recorder, but I could make hilariously bad drawings and exaggerations of how I lost!
Seriously, just gimme Shuma, Haggar, Arthur B&B/Tips
PS: "didn''t")
They had the same promotion on there facebook site before and I submitted a video a few months ago. I think it got like 30 hits and nothing ever became of it...
would be easier to do if we can save our matches like in ssf4
@7 thank u cause honestly i dont want it and certainly will be mad. and yes its really just speculation no one said there will be smvc3. and just by mass saying it wont produce the product u want. lets just face the facts the gave us an unfinished game that they had no intention of finishing. obviously due to delays of characters and these lousy play it by ear dlcs. and i say play by ear cause it sounds as if they made them up on a whim cause there damb generic and really insulting my gaming criteria. i had thee highest hopes for this game and i cant even seem to play unless my friends are playin.
but relative to the post i really think its a cool idea that should have been implamented on many games of this genre for a while in this idderation atleast
Frank & Doc Ock still needs to be added as DLC for vanilla version. Marvel needs Japanese voice (except they won't get any customization on a different characters due being accorded to original series), probably as DLC or in Super version only. Custom music & screentshooting needs to be added for PS3 users.
#16 Marvel needs Japanese voice overs? Could you be a bigger weeaboo? I bet you have Dante and Chris on Japanese audio even though neither have had Japanese voices prior to MVC3.
as #10 pointed out LOL..
But seriously dont they think its a bit of an odd thing they are doing asking for video capture of a match for a game they.
People are gonna be sitting recording a bunch of matches just to send in one, instead of being able to recall up a bad match out a recent saved playlist online and record that for youtube purposes.
@my own post
3rd line got messed up, was supposed to be for a game they left the option to do so ingame.
@8
here is how i would play your team
Arthur on point, Haggar in second, Shuma on third and anchor
Assists:
Arthur:lances
Haggar:Lariat
Shuma:ray
Team roles:
Arthur:User
Haggar:battery
Shuma:assist
Arthur: is not a good anchor, is meant to be played with exclusive keepaway, he is a bad anchor and needs assists to be effective, so i think he would be on point, haggar's assist could be used to help get opponents off of you and you could use shuma's assist to help zone from afar
Haggar - is actually really good on point not just for the assist, i don't think he would make a good assist for shuma anyway due to shuma's in your face play style, where as haggars assist is for defensive playstyles like arthur's.
haggar has incredible anti rush down capabilities and can beat the tar out of wolverine using his air pipe and lariat(against dive kicks), use shuma's assist to help you get in.
Shuma gorath - is a great anchor, just use mystic smash and roll into your opponent, alot of people have no clue on how to deal with this, other than that i don't really have that many tips to give you with shuma, i have not put much work into him.
Bnbs:

Truer words never spoken.
@#22
Wow. I bet you're loads of fun to talk to.
How about offering a discount for Super MVC3 for people who purchased MVC3? I'd prefer that...
