I've never seen such a lame teaser. They really should stop now before making another "Hey guyz we'll show you just what you need to guess which character it is but not enough to make you feel hype about this game, so that way, you just won't care" trailer.

I think more people are upset that these trailers are doing a bad job hyping the game. I love sagat in a verus game ,but i would rather see unSF4 characters being shown.

I appreciate what Capcom is doing with this game, more people complain than actually appreciate things. If you forgot, E3 is next month, they aren't going to show us anything new till then. Its funny how some people cry when other companies doesn't reveal anything about their upcoming games which leaves everyone left in the dark and then here comes Capcom who reveals at least something about the game and rather if its not what you looking for at least we know the game is still growing strong. Capcom is simply getting the 'We seen this already' stuff out of the way before they reveal 'Whoa that was some awesome' stuff but then you will still have a few ODD Balls out of the crew who will say 'Man I am completely disappointed at what I am seeing right now' so Capcom you can't please everyone keep doing what you are doing.
i want to see the original sf4 cast, plus characters people been begging for like rolento, sodom, Q, alex etc. I hope this games not super street fighter 4 vs tekken. I dont want to see the whole ssf4 cast come back, bring in some fresh faces or new ones. Capcom we deserve that atleast since theres no new characters added to AE other then eryu,oni, yun and yang. These trailers are not even hype!!! I mean dont get me wrong this games a fantastic idea, but it feels like sf4 all over again. Give us the same flavor but with a twist.
Happy to see Sagat's in, but I agree with those who wantto see characters we haven't seen in SSF4. I also agree that the teasers don't seem to generate much hype yet. I suppose with MK just released and AE on the horizon it's hard to get hyped for yet another game,based on so little. I hope both the teasers and the hype get better as we get closer to release.

Now ONO bring in rmika, you know i love those boobs, we can both have a fair share of squeezing em okay. But only i can main her. Also destructible stages.

I agree with 3 so far it's pretty damn lazy just rehashing most of them I though this game was going to have those who didn't make the cut in 4 supposedly.
Capcom would be crazy not putting all the characters from world warrior in sfxt. Everyone knows them.
it looks to me like they are really limiting the cast to the originals. instead of getting all worked up about a game not due till 3/2012 because of teaser vids i wonder who the crew from street fighter is getting matched up with. it seems like they are picking the characters from either side that reflect each others story. what i mean is

I think you've hit the nail on the head. Capcom should rethink their marketing strategy because these teaser trailers are pretty predictable and fail to GET HYPE at all. Cammy and Sagat are pretty standard fare for a SF game; I would've expected them to be included ANYWAY.
(Of course, then again, I would've expected more characters in AE, but whatever)
I think they are going to avoid having the same character play styles from both Street Fighter and Tekken, Like Bob then Street Fighter uses Rufus I think they will avoid that like how MVC3 didnt want to use Punisher because he is pretty much a Chris Redfield for Marvel side of the roster. This is what I am guessing but I could be wrong.

Capcom has a much harder road here. Namco already has half the game done since they have the entire Tekken cast already finished for Tekken 6 and now, Tag 2. Now they just have to make 12 or so SF characters and three levels.

-Find a new fighting style for Tekken characters.
-Feature in a 4-button fighting style
-Bring back surprising SF characters and make them anew.
-Bring in 12 or so Tekken characters as well.
-All new stages

-Make 12 or so SF characters
-make Fireballs like Pauls punch and SRK a tiny jump attack.
-Make 4-5 new levels ...
and ... uh ... menus!
a given but still a decent update. they will prob milk the rest of the ww cast trailers save the surprise characters for the end. so next up will pro be blanka or honda.

This game doesn't excite me at all. It's feels completely like SSF4 with the inclusion of Tekken fighters and a Tag mode-it's nothing fresh. I think they should of went with a different look or something. I'd say this game is going to have around 40 to 60 characters.
Looking forward to Tekken X Street Fighter because that's going to be fully 3D.
I think people are tired of the same marketing strategy like teasing the characters especially characters that are not new, there's no hype in that. Soul Calibur Producer and Mortal Kombat's Ed Boon approach was better, they went ahead and told you what you can expect, and then showed or will show some surprises later.
So we get Ryu, Ken, probably Akuma and Sagat; boring. I can see this becoming the new SSF4 with the same few popular characters in the overwhelming majority of matches. Bring back Geki, Retsu, Lee etc and the unused characters from Alpha and Third Strike

Like what #37 stated, I hope this doesn't become SSF4 vs Tekken and for the people having fits with us fans "showing concern" which you guys equate to complaining, we have every right to feel dissatisfied if something isn’t” shocking us” but according to you guys we should appreciate everything and be content. I remember months back when it was stated that Elena just barely made the cut for SSF4 and lo and behold AE has no Elena so I guess us fans being concerned with an incident like that happening to SF X Tekken are jumping to conclusions when past incidents says otherwise.
Funny idea:
Add EVERY character from AE! No tweaks, keep them the same.
Now, just focus on creating 39 Tekken characters!
Now we have a game with 78 fighters! Every dream match you can think of!
You see? The SF characters are already done, just an information transfer! I'm sure 39 isn't too much to ask for on a roster, put all that dev time on Tekken!

im looking forward to playing el fuerte my main if hes in and some of the tekken cast. would be awesome if you can tag with anybody. Just imagine the tons of different combos that can be pulled off. And imagine bad tag match ups like gief and sim, wait a minute that sounds like a good tag team. Ima learn king with el fuerte as my back up. Pretty sweet. Cant wait for more character reveals, but i need more in game information.
