An Ask Capcom session happened this afternoon hosted by the Capcom-Unity folks.

How about saying "Is there possibly anything else HIDDEN in the AE cabinets the has NOT be time released yet?"
Is that so hard? I know most of you have given up on one/two more characters. But I haven't. And a few things don't add up.
I really can't understand why no one will even ask?!?
What is everyone so afraid of? This question gets dodged in every Q/A.

In all honestly I would assume they DO have something up their sleeves.
Yun and Yang were nice to hear about last year but then they got old. Next came Oni and Evil Ryu, and they faded out faster because of the early leak. Two super secret highly asked for characters would be enough to regenerate the hype.
But if not it's just AE for console. Yun, Yang, Oni, and E.Ryu. Nothing more nothing less.
Every time people ask about more AE characters they give the same answer: SFIV is done. There's nothing more.
Someone asked about BoF. Sven said it does still get brought up (so it's not canned completely), but there's nothing in the works.
He also said there's nothing he can say about MvC3. It was hard to tell if he meant there was nothing more on the way, or if he just can't talk about anything that's coming.
Balancing AE would be good (although I have to qualifdy that by saying I'm basing that on what I've seen and read).
Seems weird to show the hit boxes. I feel like it's just too much free info. I like the element of researching and discovering things.....maybe that's just me....

Your wrong. Dead Wrong! They said they have no plans to add to/continue the 4 series after AE.
They never said nothing else has ALREADY been added!

The photos, the select screen, the passcodes hidden in the AE cabs, the 6 character rumor, the development time, etc,etc,etc...
I just want to hear someone ask the question!

I don't believe it. Everyone here would enjoy reading the answer to that question. Give it some closure, I need it lol.
Capcoms promotion is just teasing. It works to hype people up but when a product like mvc3 came out, many were disappointed as well as people not wanting AE for the lack of newer characters. They still are going to sell
No way Capom is hiding characters. It's to get people to double-dip. I believe they're releasing the disc later in the hopes that impatient gamers who want a physical copy will not be able to wait. For these players they'll probably see the $15 as a small price to not have to wait three weeks while everyone else has it. Not sure there which one offers Capcom the bigger margin, but there will surely be people who will end up buying both due to the staggered release.
The BBFC said that AE contains 6:30 of NEW video footage! They rated it, remember?
Evil, ONI, Yun and Yangs endings are roughly 3:26 combined! The intros have been removed, so I can't time them...
What does this mean? You tell me.. I doubt those tiny intros run an additional 3:00!

I stuck my hand out for a hand shake and he just looked at it. I asked a question and he looked away and said something I couldnt hear. I overheard him talking with someone else about DLC and he agreed that the company is milking people dry for no reason but he's not going to do anything to keep his job. He also thinks that Capcom could be working harder to keep secrets.

Sometimes I feel like when ppl start to make sence on this site others just ignore the posts and keep on talking.
A few news stories ago I posted a lengthy letter about some serious issues with the MC's fightpad for ps3. And how EVO was making a terrible mistake thinking that they were Blutooth Dogles when in fact they are IR dogles!
Everyone just ignored me. Even Catalyst. And that was a major problem!

I'm gonna make a few predictions: SFxTekken (and TekkenxSF), Super MvC3, 3S:OE, and maybe another EX game, just to drive the stake in all the way.
Seeing as how Capcom don't have the rights to the EX series and likely don't want to pay the price being asked I think it's fair to assume we won't be getting a new SF EX.
I forsee a new Vampire Saviour though...
