Towards the end, there's a brief Q&A with TTC|Tokido and he answers some questions including:
• What Daigo Umehara is doing with MvC3, although TTC|Tokido says he can't say a lot, he does talk a little about The Beast.
• His strategy with Phoenix/Dark Phoenix.
• The MvC3 scene in Japan.
• He added that in Japan, he's one of the top MvC3 players.

i dont even play MvC3 but i know that there are a lot of characters that can punish his hurricane kick on block (seen a video on it earlier on EH).
anyways why wouldnt Daigo be one of the best in this game? he is after all a fighting game fanatic. hes played almost every different blend of fighters out there. in MvC3 i think he'll get far, not as far as some of the Americans but he'll get far. now MvC2 i can see being a problem for him lol.

Everybody is playing a new game in MvC3. New things are discovered constantly. It will be interesting to see how he does to say the least.
Now, if it were MvC2 I think he'd have no chance in hell to beat the masters of that game. No way he beats Justin, Yipes, Sanford or any other top MvC2 player. They could probably go low tier and beat his ass.

You are right. Akuma and Wolverine are the TOP TOP tier characters. Phoenix is broken in some ways and fair in others. Maybe less life on dark Phoenix?
Still, Akuma's hurricane kick is way broken. Just cause some characters can stop it doesn't mean all can and even then, those mixups need to be pushblocked which can also be stopped.
And every super is invincible start up. Sooooooo ... he's awesome.

Akuma definitely isn't TOP tier. He's almost always used as an assist character and for level 3 X-Factor. Without those scenarios, he's definitely easy to kill w/ his low health. Punishing his tatsu is ridiculously easy. People should actually TRY experimenting against it instead of whining and crying first.

and yes, tokido is slightly better than every single player i've played EVER online here. the other top players BEFORE tokido started playing online were
1. the highest ranked cosmic lord online i can't remember his name but mains she hulk
2. superboy 1022 or something, mains dante a mighty lord
3. spinking online, the former highest ranked guy on asia's mvc3, mains zero. a mighty lord
you could easily tell that tokido hasn't been playing THAT long but his damn fundamentals are on another level. and he is absolutely right, mvc2 experience does NOT help in this new game. tokido right now is at i think a second lord with a 84% win ratio i think. which is super high cuz he's only played like 350 games iirc
