I wonder who their AE picks will be. I'll be Hakan/Honda but it really sounds like MR isn't going to keep Honda in AE.

I expect quite the upset's this year at EVO.

He said in a previous episode that he's going to stay Honda, no matter how OP Yun/Yang/Makoto/Fei will be in the US, but I wouldn't blame him if he was to switch though.

Gootecks should retire from SSF4, or stop playing other games because it downgrades his game. And Mike is hilarious in this episode.

Is it me or Gootecks is getting carried by Mike Ross. Gootecks is looking like a pot monster nowadays.

I kind of wish they would show the MK adventures of them it's pretty funny. Especially that one episode where Mike is all "bring me in, bring me in, Bring me in!!! Arrrghhhhhhh!!! I nearly fell to the floor XD

I liked this episode, they showed some really good matches and how to defeat certain tactics.

Balrog vs. Honda was quite funny, I have to admit.

Gooteck hang in there you already know the best of the best play underwater. LOL

Mike Ross just gained 2.5% of respect from me for not playing with Mr.9.

I was put in a similar situation not so long ago in SSF4...between Chun-Li, Rose and Sakura, I felt kinda helpless deciding, but Rose just "felt" right once I found my center of it all.

I feel your pain, Gootecks, it'll pass soon enough.

@Phynx #12: Why should he be embarrassed? I know that Akuma in person, he's from Peru and he's a very good player, knows his setups, unblockables and other stuff, even Gootecks said the mach was pretty laggy and Renzoes still put up a good fight.

Man...Gootecks was super salty.
It's hard to be told how to play...but Mike knew hit sh1t man. And I'm sure in a tournie situation Gootecks would play a lot smarter.
I think the difference in this episode was that Gootecks likes to play safe...but mike is entertaining and most of all...having fun!!!
...for sure this episode though...Mike was mad insightful and I'm sure I'm not the only person who learnt some things from that episode.

I hope he won't get the idea that Rose is inherently boring to watch; I don't know why Mike thinks so but I enjoy seeing good Roses.
Guess it's part personal preference and part exposure. In my case I found Balrog barely passable to watch before so many players were using him.

Gootecks will never be a great player unless he learns to create opportunities for himself or mindf*ck the opponent. All he does is passively look for openings and counters, leaving his opponent free reign to dictate the style and pace of the match.

omgggg gootecks. GO IN! MIX IT UP! He's got this problem in all 3 games so far. He's been spoiled from stuffing everything with Rog's jab/cr.fp/headbutt and crouching/charging all day long. Even when he was playing Sub Zero, it's like all he could do was back up and make ice clones! The dude is such a turtle, which is fine, but he's lost whatever it was that let him turtle and win. Now he just gets bodied lol. Nothing more awkward than having a 50% health defecit and being such a turtle that you still crouch for like 15 seconds, too turtle to make any moves, even though your opponent just wants to sit on his advantage and let you come at him anyway!

Meanwhile Mike is outplaying the same dudes with crap like jab jab, stop, throw lol
