Haven't watched the latest one, but I must say the Ryu guide by Air was incredibly informative, and I expect the same with their Marvel Guide. Love what these guys are doing.
that was almost as good as the air guide, i am not saying the marvel guide was bad but the air guide was just so good and changed the way i play not just street fighter but all fighting games. But none the less i learned things in this guide i never knew before so i think it was a good watch

That's exactly the point they made. They pointed out countless of times how bad they were at Marvel. That's why they created this DVD featuring Viscant teaching them how to level up their game.
@mark_morrison - Comments like that are pretty much completely invalidated by the fact that you're a nameless nobody. If you were winning tournaments left and right on your own without any help whatsoever from anyone, maybe you'd have some credibility to what you are saying.
Gootecks and Mike Ross go out there, compete in tournaments and want to get better. Not really trying to be rude or put you on blast, but if it's so easy to get good, then go become a known player so we can all watch your videos.
Once you get hit in this game your pretty much done if your opponent is good at this game especially with those assists that hit you back up and you can continue combos. It gets ridiculous this game. Its crazy how so many people complained about mvc2 infinites but in this game those that complained before are doing pretty much 100% combos in this game and they love it. I don't get it =0 maybe its because they are using characters they actually like in this game instead of just being forced to use x-men in mvc2.
Why do people keep bringing up combos as a way to judge how hard a game is? That's stuff I expect from scrubs on gamefaqs, although I guess eventhubs isn't far from gamefaqs. Outside of a few characters, combos are piss easy in Marvel 3,but news flash, doing combos doesn't make you good. What makes marvel 3 hard is the insane mixups. Getting hit means death and blocking is more important than ever. Jwong still does day 1 mission mode combos with his characters, yet he wins because he can block better than others.
Again, not saying Marvel is harder than SF or anything, I actually think SF is harder at top level. Especially for players who didn't learn the concept of footsies from old SF games. Just saying a game being easy to learn doesn't make it "easy".
@15 thats the strangest thing about MvC3; People complained about balance but instead of balancing MvC3 they made it easier for people to do the broken stuff. I don't think thats what fans had in mind.
MvC3 is not a bad game it's just not very challanging. Once you find your broken team then it's just all about who gets hit first. It works in underground smack talk and money matches but as tournament level play, it's kind of dull.
