I plan on owning one of those 2 million copies.

Capcom should make Ryu and Jin $5 DLC characters a week after the game is released. They need more money.

So 2 million eh? Well that was MvC3... Looks like it's gonna be another bare bones game.

if it was expecting 3 million. that would mean they were pushing for a bigger title which means more development $$$

@ 30 campaign mode? in 3d? nah, capcom just too lazy to do it. Even if they do it, they will pull the release time.

I do hope for it though. I wish there are story mode where we played alot of characters based on the scenario. we can also unlock characters from that mode... in the final battle, there is Ryu & Jin vs Akuma & Kazuya that would be EPIC!!

Around March of 2012 sounds about right for this game.

well just give me the rest of what i mentioned and ill be fine. i know cap tardemark is a crappy car and barrel bonus round. truthfully, after playing it once or twice, i dont think anyone had the incentive to play it again. the things that they could have included if they didnt put those 2 bonus stages in ssf4 would have worked out better. they could have put in more stages at least. like that tall grass stage with the lightning in the background from sf alpha2. man, they BETTER include that one in sfxt.

I think it's killer how Capcom is putting out a quality fighter every year in the spring. We get out hands on it, play it for a long while, and then we're ready for Capcom to give us something new.

It's a great set-up. Now give us replay channels for MvC 3 Capcom!

It would have been cool to be able to fight an opponent on the bonus stages!

People WILL by this full price even if it has Arcade mode,Vs Mode,Training Mode.The selling you the bonus content games normally had.

Capcom has learn that they don't need waste money on testing and development time,just chuck the title out,let the players figure out game breaking glitches,patch it 2 weeks after release date.

Anyway, I hope SFxT dpes well. It would be nice to see some support for SSF4AE in the future but I could also understand if they just choose to focus on SFxT.

I don't see SF×T selling 2 million copies, I really don't. Good for Capcom if it does, but I just don't see it. I see 1 total million sales or less for SF×T and 1 million total sales or less for T×SF. Marvel vs. Capcom 3 took a little while to hit the 2 million mark and that was with a wave of hype following Comic-Con and whatnot.

it depends. if sfxtekken ends up being sf4 with tag team added it wont but if they do somethin fresh then it might.

still not super hype for this game, i'm pretty sure i'll buy it and enjoy it, but i don't think it will be my favorite
what would really get my hype up would be sf characters that didn't make it in ssfae,

I like the little bit of gameplay that they've shown so I'm not too worried about that, but I really hope they put some thought into the roster.

This crossover is a pretty big deal and they obviously need their "representatives", but it'd be nice to see them dig a little deeper than just SSF4 and T6.

People who care a lot about fighting games will get hyped because it's similar to Street Fighter IV but more aggressive which a lot of people wanted, but it's a hard sell for people who DON'T care a lot about fighting games and that's where sales come from. Marvel vs. Capcom 3 had a strong sales demographic of those people because of the Comic-Con hype and there being lots of characters they know and love duking it out (they might as well have had Deadpool the focus of the cover art). Even Street Fighter IV had it because people made a big deal out of it being the return of Street Fighter, and Super because it was a GREAT deal. I just don't see that happening for Street Fighter × Tekken. It'll appeal to some Street Fighter fans and some Tekken fans, but not a whole lot else. I predict OK sales but not what they're expecting.

Now for my on topic discussions, sfxt is just around the corner. March 31, 2012. Im excited, but i think its to soon. Hope they keep that sf4 feel of the game while implementing tekkens mechanics and strategys as well. Also take off that cartoony look, use the graphics of the first sfxt video. Too colorful, in my opinion. Capcom really wants to finish this game and release it to the public asap. All i ask for is i hope its not like mvc3. Such a let down. Dont think the majority of consumers would of bought that game if they had released a demo before. MvC3 sales were huge. But i think it was all hype what mvc2 left behind. People didnt know what to expect or know about this game. So we all bought it for the hell of it. MvC3 sales are mostly hype then fan based in my opinion. Thats why most game producers and game franchises dont put out demos, they cant afford to lose all that money. They gotta feed there familys too. I dont blame em but it still sucks. Not saying that i had doubts about purchasing this game, but there should of been more information other then characters and hypers.

Honestly i think it will sell more then mk9 and mvc3 put together. Theres so many sf and tekken fans. Just imagine waves of new fighting game communitys, Non fan based communitys waiting to get there hands on this game. Content ssf4 ae or tekken6 that wasn't implemented in there previous games coming to this one. Characters, stages, modes, online play, ranked matchs, game mechanics and spectator mode hopefully , etc. Hope they take there time with this game, and make it right. Wonder will they have 1v1, and 2v2 or something different like 1v2 or 1v3. Like MK9 but better. SF,TEKKEN and non fans rejoice.

The sad part of it is, Eventhubs is probably one of the best sites when it comes to video game news. The fact that this site only gives Capcom fighting game news and it's so popular really says something. The main reason this site has such a bad reputation are its users. There is no way the users on here are older than 18. They usually have absolutely no idea what they're talking about and don't even bother to think before posting and just complain and argue for the sake of it. For example, judging about what the majority of the users here have said about 3S, Yun and Yang, parrying, etc., it's pretty obvious that they've never even played 3S, started off playing (and probably only play) SF4, and probably just talking crap out their ass like they have any idea what they're talking about based on their own assumptions or some videos.

I'll probably get this if I'm still playing new games, but I'm hoping they include Elena and some characters from the first Street Fighter.

So wheres the Megaman X and Venom DLC?
