Mike Ross and Gootecks have returned with a new entry in their series of Super Street Fighter 4 online adventures on the Cross Counter YouTube page.
To get ready for the release of Arcade Edition on console, Gootecks and Mike Ross are BACK playing Super Street Fighter 4! Will they be reminded of why they stopped in the first place? Can they even find a match? Is anybody out there?

LOL I love that artwork. Props to whoever drew that. I'd love to see the guy/girl draw an entire roster with other fighting game figures like JWong, Noel Brown, flOe, Sanford, Arturo, Wolkrone, PR Rog, and of course, the beast Daigo!!!!

i found in my area still there are quite a bit people play ranked matches. and of course, many people are playing endless these days because ranked matches get you all tensed up and hate mailers,lol
Maybe people aren't playing ranked cause AE is coming soon
This was kinda a lame episode tbh. Don't get me wrong I'm actually a fan of all the series but this one wasn't that entertaining as other episodes.
Anyway. The Ranked-Mode is kinda empty because of two reasons;
1) You cannot play an entire day on Ranked-Mode because it IS kinda exhausting, or you go into auto-piloting for many fights. If you got like 4500pp, you cannot auto-pilot yourself through other players on this lvl. xD
2) Endless-Battle is kinda more fun for me because I can play with Headset and smack talk. AND for fcuks sake I don't get hate mail'd all the time how cheap and broken Cammy is and how happy they are about her TGKN CS nerf. Seriously it's so annoying. Deal with it.
Last thing, the commercial at the end was hilarious.
true the episode wasnt the best theyve done, but give em a break.. im so happy there back on SSFIV. MvC3 is too full of cheap/scrubby moves/tactics. i love mikes comments about getting beat. "dumb it down". thats so true

Don't feel bad Mike, as a Honda player I can attest. A good Dee Jay is a tough match up for Honda. It's like ST level if they're good.
when its an MvC vid it's ok to do yawns/shrugs or bag on it, but when it's ssf4 if you do a yawn or shrug you get flamed like no tomorrow, grow up guys and stop being such hypocrites. everyone has their own opinion just because you think mvc is full of cheap scrubby tactics is mere opinion it aint a fact. i enjoy the fast pace that is the mvc series from MSH all the way to the present, IMO ssf4 is slow for me. maybe that's why they're doing yawns/shrugs, but seriously guys stop being so hypocritical. whether you think ssf4>mvc or mvc>ssf4 is just an opinion. such criticisms are what hinders the FGC from ever growing big

the issue here is that it's being done, no matter what game it is; regardless if i like the game or not.
yes, i love ssf4. no, i don't like mvc. but i will still not bash it. im just speaking for me tho, if you see anyone elese here being a hypocrite, well... thats their own hole they gotta climb out of.

The fights against that DJ player had me rflmao, I guess his name...isn't just aesthetics. lol
Also, kind of sad to see Goo get peaced out by that Ryu, but he was zoning really good. That was not a bad Ryu at all.
I have a legit question. Not a console flame war.
I have ps3. I enjoy mostly lag free matches depending on how many bars my opponent has. It's really good like 98% of the time.
Now, color me ignorant... But if X-box live's quality is based off of your ISP how could it be any better, any different than psn?
These matches had terrible lag.
I'm asking for two reasons:
1) With psn down I've thought about picking up an XB
2) Live members always speak about gdlk Internet, yet it seems no different (other than fees)
In fact, my buddy has both systems and tells me that it's the same thing.
What gives? Any answers?

they DID however indure it in Christmas of 07 into 08. system wasn't completely down, but it had significant connect issues. the sudden influx of people world wide to the servers made it overload and thus connection was bad.
tho it happened, many console war clowns choose to bash the competitor cuz they are too stupid and ignorant who for lack of nerve cells, try to talk about stuff they don't know jack sh!t about.
xbl or ps3, either can be hacked, either will eventually break down. NOTHING is or ever will be perfect.

live got more people^^ and psn less. It seem to me xbox software runs faster and got better feature than psn. example of these are of course sf4,mvc3 and black ops party only mic option. Other then that the internet lagg is still there.
For you to say you play lagg free 98% ot the time is is less than truthful or that you only play 2-3 people in your neighborhood online everyday since you got the game.
i couldn't help you with that even if i wanted to, which i do. that question should be directed to someone that knows the in's and out's of BOTH systems. i do however know that everyone's ISP and their speed will have different results, like you mentioned. what the difference between both 360 and ps3 is, i do not know. never had or been into 360's. i have a greater speed which i pay more every month than my brother on the to the same ISP, the more you pay the faster it is. i know that's one, but there could (not saying for certain) be more contributing factors. i wouldn't pay for another console because of the lag. as you said ps3's doesn't lag 98% of the time, and the xb isnt immune to it either. i see no reason to waste money for a new console as well as an account for which you will continue to pay for. unless you want to trade your ps3 in and switch to xb not only for a slightly superior online experience, but for exclusive games ,which every console has.
i ps3, sonly' and nintendo would combine to make only 1 console. and port all games into it. i wanna play some of the exclusives that xb and wii has to offer, but i dont wanna own a crap load of systems.

The truth is... I would own an Xbox, I have no problem with the machine. But I love my ps3 and all the cool stuff it does.
And it just seems like the online play is the same. As mike and gootecks seem to have proven.
It's not about your system of choice, it's about your ISP.
Maybe we just ended the console wars lol. (sarcasm)
