This is kinda old but good. I just wish he was playing higher BP characters because, as a Hakan player, the tricks only work until the higher priority characters - Chun, Ken, Viper, Makoto if you believe it - learn they can snuff EVERY SINGLE ATTACK.
It royally sucks. I hope Hakan has some normal priority buffs.
i hope to see more hakan players in AE. its fun to play against characters you rarely even see.
i need a good hakan player as a friend to get practice against, even IF i'll rarely run into any. wanna be prepared just in case.

He does, you're right, he's like my other main, Honda, in that regard. But it can still be beaten. By Bison and Ryu's punch or Chun and Viper's hard kick for example. His j.short his his best but if they gave it Honda hands- type priority he could really get in.

I didn't know Hakan could frame trap like that. I think he's still a cool character. It's not everyday that you get to play as a big red rapist.

Didnt think hakan was made to be a rush character, had no clue. Hes so slow.
Hakans U2 beats out anything airborn. Found that the hard way with thawk and bison. Fuertes still my anti gief and anti hakan. I love fighting high level shotos with my el fuerte. 5100pp-11000bp your boys a beast.
Watched the videos. Pretty good Hakan. I think in some instances the opponent didn't know how to fight against Hakan, but it's all good.
Keep it up. Wish I still played frequently. When AE comes out I'll be all over it again

Wildcat is amazing but now we have a clear winner for best Hakan player ever.
No one uses Hakan's normals and FADC's like this. He buffed the character with this playstyle, no more sluggish free risk that Hakan is full of. Unbelievable player.
If it wasn't for Yun, Hakan might be actually usable thanks to this guy's work!

This guy is good, he plays Hakan really oddly by rushing down. That seems like a weird way to play him. But I feel like I have to point out that he's playing really crappy players all over these videos. I saw like one A+ ranked Bison player, but still. These guys suck... well most of them at least. Not to take away from the Hakan's skill, but yeh.

But you can totally see those guys he plays got like no reactions lol even if you dont know the character your playing against, Hakans dashes and jumps are so god damn slow, you can reversal them so easily. No one ever attempted to do so in these Vids.
I don't like Hakan, neither do I like this player.

Also, I almost forgot! As long your not in the corner, almost every character is capable of back dashing Hakan out. Sure you can't be backdash happy but still once in a while would give you a breather.
I'm very thankful, i Don't know how to thank you all my bros and thank you eventhubs. i have never imagined i could be posted here. its true that i play weird with him. i developped this kind of playstyle against rushdown characters. fight fire with fire. i see people comparing me to wildcat im so honored. i love wildcat as well! but we don't play the same style at all. i developped a method on playing with the frames of the game. i follow a rythm with buttons that gives counter hits, then i follow counter hits combos. i developped new tricks such as standing HK + crouching lk (its a 60% counterhit expect against shoryus) and then you follow the pressure with this certain rythm.
i don't know if you know some of the names of characters i played against there. they are from our community. djolarabe for instance eventhough you ve seen 0 bp he is 5000up PPS. respect to all of them, they are very talented as well! im glad SF community become larger and larger and players such as warriorbysand (from morocco as well) and others are represented.

exactly my brother wildcat is excellent! but we don't have the same playstyle at all, He represents the defensive hakan at his best! if you are a hakan player u will notice! i play different, i focus on frames and counterhits.

Every fighting games has high tier characters. It's not like Yun and Yang are even god tier.
lot of these guys can't block low properly or tech grab or even option select or even mash out jab to interrupt pressure strings .....
why is it this guy doesn't show the last round of him winning a match on 98% of these fights so we can see him win the match...
editing makes people look better than they are...
Why are videos of good players styling on scrubs considered good highlight material? There's enough good material of solid matches without needing to include scrubby matches.

While doing C to Shining C I can't remember a character I had more fun with. Dude's mad underrated.
90% of the players in these vids had no idea what they where doing. Although El-K seems to do know what he's doing, it doesn't really demonstrates if Hakan would be "good" enough against real players.

thank you a lot for watchinf the video brothers. either u like it or not. people should respect all opinions. and i'm sure all u guys here mostly are great players. these videos shows mostly my playstyle (frame play, counter hits based). and please show som respect to the other oponents faced in the video. You don't know most of them probably coz they are from our community. even though you see BPs like 100 or 0,most of them i know are very talented with 5000up PPS. (Djolarabe, djdelvalle with zangief etc...).

I never said I place at the top. I've been to East coast throwdown 2, multiple locals, and I frequent grandmasters.
