That's another way to stay healthy and free of germs. Americans may find it funny but countries in Asia still wears them b/c of the SARS outbreak awhile back. It's not uncommon to see 1/10 people who still wears them over there.

I can mind seeing on telly in the UK some American guy was in a US hotdog speed eating comp and the size of the men who were there........ wow, and amongst these whales of men was some wee skinny Japanese dude who eat them all under the table and didn't seem that fased by eating X amount of hotdogs despite the fatty yankes were all dying. Amazing.

its a card system i believe. you purchase a card and put your password or whatever and on the arcade cabinets there are like credit card slots for you to enter your card. its like a mix of a credit card and XBL card.

I don't know about them wearing them before the SARS outbreak. I visit Hong Kong every 3-4 yrs and I didn't really see them wearing masks until the outbreak happened. Maybe Japan has been wearing them way before SARS.

I could understand someone wearing a mask if they were sick, it's not that far fetched.

Points are recorded on a card and you insert a card into a machine before you start the match.
I loved these matches, great video quality and really nice gameplay. It seems Gen is better in AE, dude was beating with him. Even a sold Yang player got beat by his Gen so it's possible he might get popular again.
I know Daigo said fireball characters are finished in AE, but Sagat is not. He's able to hold his own against everyone, great all around matches in my opinion.
