Has starnab ever taken alioune on in a torunament??? I've seen him beat luffy to win one euro tournament and beat gamebee to take another tournament but i have never seen starnab actually fight alioune in an tornament.
@duckmouth
#5 is the problem with that. Some people have trouble seeing the result, and it's kind of a pain to highlight a lot of results, when you start doing top 8s and battle logs. There will always be certain instances where I want to avoid spoiling the results (for tournaments that weren't streamed, for example) and some other cases, though, so you'll still see this used, but it's one of those things where you kind of have to choose a bit of a middle ground with it.
I was excited to see cabinets b/c if it's on a cabinet, then it must be AE. Then I found out they were custom knockoffs of regular SSF4. Regardless, always nice to see some high level Japanese players.
Had no idea MOV had such an amazing Ken. Always thought of him as the best Chun-Li player ever in 3s over Nuki.
i know its part of the tournament but dam dude on mic is to dam loud stfu lol
@ 2 I agree i feel Al is very over-hyped, RH was so sure Al was a meretriciously, spectacularly, amazingly, scintilate player. Don't get me wrong hes good, but when RH did that mini interview after he beat Daigo. He said something to the effect of Al being the "BEST" n i thought wow then Daigo must be second best with sooooooo many tourny wins. (clear sarcasm) Just goes to show you how an ego can cause you to talk from your fourth point of contact. Turning something shiny (RH) in to something gaudy. Just carelessly throwing Al out there like the that, this is more than just gaming, it's competition, its war, its pride, its thirst, everything little thing is taken into account. Dnt believe me just ask the two that were physically fighting at the tourny a while back.
Why doesn't that commentator have a partner? There's no way he can decipher all the option selects and strategies being employed in real time by himself. It seems like he's rattling on.......
This guy is probably the only reason Cammy's ranked as high as she is in AE.
Tied with Ken? Please!
i ve seen Alioune match in the 3 vs 3 final ( the team was him RF and tokido...). he really impressed me but then in this fight, not at all, he dont do lot of tournys , maybe he isn't used to such high pressure
and MOV... i cant believe he had so few experience about the game and end up this high
i really hope he changes his mind about SSF4 and go serious playing it
Ctrl+A highlights everything on a page....Tokido is a beast by the way.
Tokido makes Akuma illegal to use in tournaments. DAMN!!!!!!!! Japanese players take Akuma to a whole nother level. Its like they only use cvip, el fuerte, akuma, gief, ryu, sakura, chun and hakan to a whole new level and play at a much higer level then american players.
lol at the wee groupie girl "yay!"
Good fights, surprised there was no Yuns or Yangs though ;)
Tokido fears no one, not even the BEAST!!!!!! or the howling of a wolfkrone or the stench of a porkloafking.
@Alluppoj and Catalyst
In order to view it on an iPhone highlight the spoiler box by holding your finger over it and copy it. Go into your Notes and paste it in there. Problem solved.
damn now if only MOV can get Ino and Kuroda to play SSF4 that would be awesome (not cuz i like SSF4 but because i wanna see more of them)
Alioune was in the final of all the tournament i did at the stunfest.(MK9, MVC3, SSF4 team and solo).
The only obstacle was tokido on every tourney.
He won against MOV in winner bracket. Here is the capture.

But MOV learned from this match for the looser final.
Alioune is clearly on of the best player in Europe and clearly the best cammy. But when your opponent sparring with daigo, mago, sako, haitani and so on; it could be difficult to surprise him and win.
LONG LIVE SF4/SUPER/ and AE............... too many 3rd strike fanbois.........
PR ROG Destroyed Tokido!!!!!!!!!! dude is high.... missed on a combo and paid for it severely.
Tokidos an aggressively smart player. Hes not afraid to get hit or make a mistake. Hes always in your face. Its hard to find american players that play similar to tokido. Just projectiles all day and vortex.

Is this not destruction?
PR Balrog pulled out an incredible defensive play. I really was impressed by his balrog that time.
But don't make assumption with just one tournament...
a lot of americans have their moment of glory, ricky ortiz, fil champ , justin, PR, etc...
but try to be as consistent as Tokido, going in every country around the world
for me its the n°1 international currently
On the other side, playing Sagat and loving RF style, i was disapointed he didnt make it to the final, i have yet to see his losses against Ryan Hart
where did I say he won in the US ?
not only n°1 matters...
lets not start the war US against rest of the world, its pretty stupid, we need to encourage player travelling
beat by contest was waiting for J.Wong, Ortiz, Marn but they cancelled late, thats too bad
Damn son.
