A few more details emerged about Marvel vs. Capcom 3 today as CAW Evolution translated an interview that was conducted with the title's producer Ryota Niitsuma.• Development began about two years ago (mid 2009).
• Niitsuma considers Ryu and Akuma to be different types of characters; Ryu is a battery character, while Akuma is an "active combat" character.
• Neo_G's shadow will soon be available in a pack, this is Marvel vs. Capcom 2 and 3's lead battle designer.
• Spencer is considered a technical character.
• Niitsuma wanted to include more Mega Man and Darkstalkers characters.
• There was a staff member who kept suggesting Rainbow Mika.
• The disaster in Japan has changed Capcom's original plans regarding the future of the game, but there will be an announcement down the road.

What do you wanna bet that, even if they HAD included more Darkstalkers "characters", they would've been just as unusable as Hsien-Ko?

Sounds like a load of bull to me...as for R. Mika it's not too late for DLC inclusion but yea they're blowing smoke about that too.
Ok so tvc has a mega man and mvc3 doesn't. That's a stupid move on capcoms part unless he's dlc. I do prefer mega man over x because zero is already in it.
@8 I wouldn't. I'd rather have She-Hulk, a character I actually like outside of MvC3 as apposed to another Street Fighter. We have 4 of them, we don't need more. And even if we did, Juri would be a much better choice.
Now if R. Mika were to appear in Street Fighter X Tekken, that would be a different story.
Darkstalkers has some really unique and interesting characters. Seeing Jedah or Lord Raptor or something in there would be awesome.
I think the problem is that a lot of people haven't played a Darkstalkers game so they have no idea who the characters are.
I think it's only logical we get one more Darkstalker. We had 4 in MvC2 so I'd only make sense that Niisuma wanted one more. Go ahead with Jedah or Lord Raptor.
As for the Rainbow Mika thing... I remember her being okay but, no, not in this game. And if I would want any SF Alpha character, I'd want Karin.

R.Mika! I would love her to be on the game!!! She-Hulk and Mika bringing the heat! I'm curious to see which Darkstalkers and Megaman characters he was trying to use.
I really don't mind more Darkstalkers & Megaman characters. I would prefer them to be at least Jedah, X & even Protoman. But R Mika? c'mon, he should be slap in the face for suggesting that character before any other character that was on MVC2 from Capcom side. Characters that people actually cared about like Hayato, Jin, Commando and of course f*cking Strider Hiryu.
Anyways, I hope we as fan don't have to wait long for MVC3 news.

hahaha Mika woulda been awesome!!! and some more DS characters woulda been nice too. i mean, this complaint i'm about to toss out has nothing to do with gameplay... but the Capcom side of the game is boring, visually speaking. lots of normal humans and such, while the Marvel has a bunch monsters and freaks in the mix.

No. Yoshinori Ono wasn't on the team for this game.
R. Mika has a lot of fans inside Capcom. Check out their internal Christmas cards since 1998 and she's all over them.
However, I hope Ono does try and get her into SFxT.
Mega Man X. Admit it Capcom. There's no better choice than to add the most wanted MvC3 character plus the most wanted Mega Man character plus the most wanted Mega Man with super moveset potential plus someone who can make some good Mulah for Capcom in no time.
Man, cApcom just needs to make a new darkstalkers.
