It's clear he has issues with losing, he's a very salty player & that comes from having a huge EGO so I have to disagree with your statement. I like Gootecks but its clear he's not the "humble" type.
Yeah I just came from Southern Impact in Texas and when Gootecks got send to loser's he was really pissed. He doesn't hide it too well, lol.

Who the hell plays SSF4 or any fighting game "to get ladies"? Everyone keeps commenting that it's a sausage fest, well yea, it's not a subject most girls are going to go flocking toward. They're not in this line of work to get laid.
To those Who are bashing Gootecks, saying he's salty or this or that, WHO LIKES LOSING?!?!? Especially if you're putting money into a tournament! I dont even like losing online! Or anything else.. Checkers, basketball, poker, arm wrestling match, ANYTHING! You can call it salty... but if you're not "salty" then that just means you've excepted defeat and many more will follow with that attitude. Champions in any sport are "salty" or passionate in what they do which is why they do it at the level of a champion. Peace.

He gets salty, but where are you getting this ego thing from? Have YOU watched Excellent or Marvelous Adventures? All he ever talks about is how he sucks or he makes too many mistakes. He doesn't even like the character in SSF4 that he plays as.
I mean it's possible he could have an ego about other things and we just don't see it, but if we don't see it, how would you know? Also, if you're drawing this conclusion from that I Got Next clip, then you may want to consider the year they started filming.
@15 News Flash! Nobody likes to lose, NOBODY. Losing is not fun but you learn from it, it makes you stronger. You have to feel salty to become stronger thats just the way it is. Y ou have to be a noob before you become a master. This mentality that everyone thinks people should be born Pros or go home is sickening. Gootecks is human just like you and everyone else. Everyone has gotten upset or fustrated in losing now and then. Just the way life is.

These people put their money (and time) into playing. Where a lot of people can just shut off a console and walk away, these guys are wondering if it's worth it to continue...to invest time and money again...to wonder if people are ashamed of them for their performance or loss. It's a lot to deal with. No one wants to fly home empty-handed. And for Gootecks? It's more than a game. It's his life. His career, even.
