Anyone know if Shoryuken FADC U2 goes into cinematic or just the three uppercuts? Same question for j. Mp too.
Let me guess, Akuma killed ryu by putting his fist through his body which awakened the satsu no hado in ryu and turned him into evil ryu.
Which in return Evil Ryu killed Akuma and turned into Demon Akuma or it probably triggered akuma's true power.
We all know Akuma planned this because akuma knew if he could get ryu to give in, akuma's true power will be unleashed.

is it me or did they purposely give evil ryu way better priority than ryu for a trade in health and stun ?
its annoying to see ANOTHER character more aggressive than cody, i really need a new main thats more specialised in an area.

How does E.Ryu have more combo options than Akuma? Only difference is the ex overhead and combo into ultra. This trades for air fireball, demon flip, Akuma's roundhouse and vortex so it doesn't really seem like "way more combo options" since ex demon flip punishes from full screen, Ex fireball applies good pressure and presents many combo opportunities, roundhouse moves Akuma forward and can be comboed into and the vortex sets up the whole mix up to combo again with the sweep after light tatsu. Doesn't really seem like more combo potential, just easy noob friendly combos into ultras which will result in more shoto hate and op remarks.

I can't wait to meet Evil Ryu! Lol but no Oni looks like a more interesting character to me, and I've never played straight up traditional shotos. This guy has some serious potential though.
E.Ryu is basically a more aggressive version of Ryu which seems pretty stupid since he has such low stamina and stun. Akuma makes up for this with his air firball and mix of both good offensive and defensive skills while E.Ryu is basically a rushdown character which is stronger damage wise and weaker stamina wise version of Ryu which seems pretty stupid for a "New" character. Oni on the other hand is a much more interesting character with his air dash, air raging demon etc.

Senbukyaku i said to be unsafe so i doubt it and ex ryusokyaku knocks down so no cant combo from that either lool

Because more players are likely to play a shoto character than a character like Q, Alex, Sodom, Rolento, or any other character that some people keep demanding. It's not hard to understand. Capcom simply decided to add a character that they KNOW people will play as. That's just how it is.
Also, Evil Ryu doesn't make regular Ryu obsolete. They don't play the same.

You're right Evil Ryu doesn't make Ryu obsolete, but Ryu or Akuma make Evil Ryu obsolete. I'm surprised the video didn't mention that the EX stomp is Armor Break.

i could of swore i only mentioned ex stomp and Senbukyaku so i dont know how i was wrong in saying you cant combo from either of those 2 moves that XNO mentioned lool

Capcom doesn't even care about the fans anymore. It's all about the benjamins and catering to a generation of lame gamers. After that half-assed mess of a game called MVC3 and them abusing DLC, I'm done supporting them. Especially with this new Resident Evil Operation Raccoon City garbage...cloaking, zombie meatshields, and Slant Six Games in my Resident Evil? No Thanks.
I will be picking up AE though if the price is right.

I posted this in another one of the Evil Ryu blog posts, but this is how I feel it went down.
Dev 1: "Hmm, what about Q?"
Dev 2: "We can't do that, he has a dash punch and Balrog has a dash punch. It's UNORIGINAL."
Dev 1: "Some people like Necro. What about him?"
Dev 2: "NO, he's too much like Blanka and Dhalsim except that his primary strength is corner pressure, but he can't really rushdown, and his normals have no priority."
Dev 1: "What about Urien?"
Dev 2: "We already gave Seth two of his moves and Seth is way more ORIGINAL and INTERESTING."
Dev 1: "What about Evil Ryu? He'll be like Akuma with less mix-up, but he'll have this hole in his chest. He'll have T.Hawk's crouch forward and this axe kick that will have 60 frame start up and won't hit overhead unless you use meter. We'll also give him a Shoryu Reppa ultra."
Dev 2: "Can we give him an alternate costume that makes him look like a scruffy hobo and give him a cool flame aura?"
Dev 1: "God damn right we can."
Dev 2: "YEAAAAAAAAHHH!!!!!"

Evil Ryu is Ryu with Akuma's health, better, slower pokes and flashier ultras or Akuma with less overall offensive capabilities and maybe more damage. So you took a spacing character with good health and dropped it severely and increased his damage output, but didn't make him much better at rushing down. How is that better than Ryu or Akuma?
