Classic fighting game footage on YouTube

Several YouTube channels were sent in over the past week that deal with multiple fighting games over the years. The first is Psychorarity, who has over four thousand videos dealing with all sorts of fighting games past and present. His channel includes classic fighters such as Super Turbo and modern versus games such as Tatsunoko vs. Capcom.

Another that you will want to check out is GAMEacho, which collects game content from a incredible multitude of titles. Included are Capcom games such as Capcom vs. SNK 2 and Darkstalkers alongside non-Capcom games such as Guilty Gear and Blazblue. A lot of their videos breach the ten minute mark, so if you like your fighting game content in large servings then this channel is for you.

It looked like Blanka was going invisible in the Ice-Ship stage in the CvS 2 clip.
Ah, such a fun game.

For me it was fascinating to see how long these guys have been doing it. SFII Turbo on the SNES was the last fighting game I played before SFIV was released (I'm guessing there are many like me, though probably not on Eventhubs), so I assumed people like Combofiend and Ricky Ortiz were relatively new players. Seeing the following video (one of the main reasons I wanted to send the tip) made me realise otherwise. Look at Ricky Ortiz!

CVS2 Was a real fun game too bad it was overshadowed by 3rd strike and Marvel 2

I watched my friends play this, but I never actually got a chance to. I definitely missed one of the best fighting games, so people say. I need to find it, but I heard it's hard to get it though.

Ahh... CvS2, how I loved that game.

I remember watching that Ranking Battle online by Denjin Video, featuring Amir, Combofiend, Sanchez, and Dirty Cole.

Thanks Nyoronoru, these channels are amazing!

I've just subscribed to both of them. The first channel has tons of videos, but they are short.

The second has less it seems, but they're much longer. I love watching high talent players go at it, try to incorporate that into my game.

Shhh cvs2. One of my fav ps2 games. Glad I scooped up one in used condition for $35 over the summer. Hard game to find though. It's be nice if it got released online(psn/live) but I doubt it'll happen :(
