Expanding on the video Desk brought to light a little ways back, Gimpyfish62 posted some footage explaining Captain America's shield slash infinite in Marvel vs. Capcom 3, and a variety of ways you can land it.

I did try the American infinite. It was fun... However, it is not really infinite like 30 or more hits with the shield. =( I got only about 15 hits.

I don't mind letting Cap have his glory but the game could use a small patch for some things (mainly talking about glitches/bugs).

also, I use Cap online alot. Love stuffing projectile spam and other whiffs with hyper charging star. My first hatemail for mvc3 was stuffing some Akuma with HCS.

Do you think they will patch this out? I'm not saying they won't but I doubt this is going to become a game changer for MVC3. A lot of people didn't realize how many characters had infinites in MVC2 that were about the same difficulty as this one. Maybe instead of removing it they can damage scale repeat moves to the point where they are only good for meter building or cause flying screen up to kick in faster, I dunno, just throwing ideas out. I think it's pretty cool though being able to catch a runaway Akuma or other projectile character in this to battery up Phoenix.

I hope Capcom doesn't give in to the whiners and remove this, I've been playing Cap since day 1 and I have to admit, he needs something like this, without it he's a low tier character, with it, he's pretty good.

Much agreed, I'm a Cap user myself and this makes him a threat, I notice in some of my online matches people are less anxious to rush in now, well save Sentinel users, but I have Sent on my team as well to deal with that.
