This may be the biggest fighting game of this decade. On everything. Can't wait to see the scene starting to understand that with time and get crazy around this game. Specialy when more revelations will start to be released. Want some more gameplay so bad...

Ok 1st, this game is going to be fkin awesome Sf4, ssf4, n ae plus this Ono took a good thing and ran with it. I'm still laughing at all the ppl who thought Mvsc 3 was going to be better than ssf4 lol. Mvsc3 was a debacle, mk9 looks to be on mvsc3 lvl. Sf4 set the bar n no other fighter looks even close. Not tekken tag 2 not mk9 definitely not mvsc3 not anything except sfXtekken sf is #1.

Maybe you should take your interests somewhere else then, how can you not be excited about this? I believe it'll quite possibly THE best crossover fighter released, EVER. If you're not 'hyped' about it then I believe you shouldn't be interested in fighting games and should go back to playing Uno or whatever...
I really hope the visuals don't look too much like SF4 :-/ As much as I love them, I feel it'd be a bit "cheap"
don't see how ppl cant be excited, it brings 2 big games together, theres a monstrous amount of potential here, i guess some ppl are to blind to see it.
PLEEEEAASSEEE Take time out to Actually look at the nits and nats of the game.. Unlike MVC3! But it looks pretty good from what you guys are showing. Hopefully we will get a release date and another CG video and gameplay video!
I can totally understand people who aren't excited about this game. There's just not much to be excited about when all we have to go off of are the occasional screenshots and that one gameplay video...
Once we start getting character reveals and a more solid look at the game, THAT'S when I'll get excited over anything.

This game is a waste of time and an addition to an already over saturated SF market. It's about time Capcom put some effort in to revive Darkstalkers or Rival Schools. This sh!t is weak. The genre doesn't need. It's just more of the same.
Real fighting game fans play more than Tekken and SF.
Ok I'm hyped about this game two of the biggest franchises in fighting history hands down. Now stop showing kazuya and ryu! Give me Ken/Paul ,yoshimitsu/vega,akuma/Jin,cammy/Michelle etc etc I want to see more characters! Stop holding out Capcom! I know you guys have it pretty rough in japan right now though so it'll take time but hopefully by e3 we will hear a release date and more info?! So far from that pic the life bars changed so I'm guessing things are moving along and a ps3 control so hopefully ps3 version gets developed 1st and then over to 360 for once.
@35 you haven't even played the game homie. How the hell dO you know if it's weak? I agree that they should bring out darkstalkers and rival schools (one if the best games that graced the dreamcast) but numbers don't lie. Those games will not sell as much as this will hands down. It's all about $$$$$ at the end of the day. As sad as it sounds. So why put they time into something they know doesn't have as large of a fanbase. Tekken and sf both have hardcore crowds I'm sure this game will do them both justice.

I don't need to play the God damn game to know that it's the 5th crossover Capcom has made in the last 3 years and the 5th SF announced in the last 1 1/2. I got SSFIV:AE and 3S on the way. I don't care how good the damn game might be. Enough f**kin SF already, and this is comming from a dude who puts SF above all other games. I KNOW I would rather have new DS or RS over another SF game, right now.
And I bet you Darkstalkers or RS would outsell the sh!t out of this game, if they took its place. Sounds crazy, but logic is logic. Tekken is on the decline and SF is spamming out games like it was Pokemon. That sh!t aint cool and I bet you this game is gonna flop. People is tired of this sh!t. Many Hardcore fans might not be but the general consumer aint gonna care about this sh!t. Putting some cash and effort behind reviving a good franchise woulda made them more money. Real talk.

@35 I didn't say I only ever play Tekken and the SF series, I also play BlazBlue, MvsC2+3, Mortal Kombat.
Capcom have put in more than enough effort recently for us and I think you should stop moaning about a game that's not even released yet! And 'the genre doesn't need (it)', you design, develop and put into production something that's better than the SF Series and I'll back down, the fact is that it's near perfect, why fix something that isn't broken?
I and I assume many others, including Sektah84 are fed up of hearing people moan and whine and cry about games before they're even testable letalone sellable. If this game does prove to be drab then I'll eat my hat.

So from Tekken 4 onwards Kazuya and Jin don't have the same fighting style bro. (iii) Even Devil Kazuya and Devil Jin don't have the same fighting style expect for the Lasers and flight combos they both can do.
#20 ChunLi - In answer to ur question Jin did this: "Advanced Mishima Style Karate & Kazama Style Traditional Martial Arts." From Tekken 4 onwards he unlearnt that and did "Traditional Karate" based on a real life form of karate called "KyokushinKai Karate" founded by Mas Oyama.

More short cuts, easy comebacks and terrible netcode is all I see with these new capcom games. Nothing will change.

btw to the guys saying that all these games are "killing the genre" well you guys are forgeting that the genres been dead before. Also in the 80s and 90s Capcom always pumped out new versions of their games just like how theyre doing now and they are sucessful because people actually WANT them. I, like many others ,love that i can experience the genre again ever since these games came out.

@batsu I got to have what your smoking! This game flop?! Lol have you seen the numbers for sfiv and ssfiv? It's obvious street fighter sells! Looks at hd remix too. All the tekken installments sell too. Including 6. Capcom and namco wouldn't put money into something that was going to flop. Rival schools and darkstalkers will not push numbers. I want them too but it's not gonna happen no time soon. Btw did you not read what Seth said in an interview last week. He clearly said Capcom was going to put to rest a couple of the titles for a while
@Ex-EIN: Kazuya and Jin don't have the same fighting styles, if you played Tekken 4-6 you would know that. Kazuya's style is a Traditional Mishima fighting style and Jin dropped the Mishima style after Tekken 3 so in Tekken 4 he has the Martial Arts/Karate style. So not really similar at all.
To settle some trolling ...
1. This game will sell, and be, fantastic. Reason is that these games are in demand.
2. The team ups in this game will be like Rival Schools. i.e. Ryu and Chun Li, Jin and Anna. They'll be preset between certain characters, which you can tell from the Ryu/Chun special in the trailer if you need proof.
3. Darkstalkers is cool, but as Marvel 3 and SFxT will prove, cross-overs are the future of their business and we can probably expect NintendoXCapcom before a new Darkstalkers.

They are not the same characters. The key to these shots is the reveal of Paul in the upper left of the first pic.
@67. It would be great to see some other character from the street fighter world beside the obvious ones. Particularly the ones who have only appeared in one game. It would also be nice if Capcom brought some of it's lesser known franchises back into the foray, Rival Schools, Power Stone being the most obvious. At least the characters from these games could pop up, what will kill the Street Fighter franchise is the repeated use of the same charcaters.

really? I have recently got back on to the tekken scene and i have to say its pretty gd, juggles is just another element to the game, i really dont see how the sf community would despise tekken for juggles when sf3 third strike had this and was much easier to do lool
@ Batsu u r right. im not getting this game cause its the same old shlt and i might not have all my sf and tekken characters in it. plus most poeple dont even know bout DS or RS. people would buy anything these years. capcom need to strick while the iron is hot, before people realise they just spamming the same game out and being lazy. fans want new. enough with sf4. i want DS, RS, cvs3, sf5 or sfex. capcom get real?
They are just using the same character models from SF4 it doesn't mean the art and the game engine will be exact carbon copies.
I see you couldn't help to include more SF titles in your wish list though. EX series pretty much blew balls and SF5?? What would be the motivating factor for releasing a different installment that soon? You obviously believe you know more than the people making and green lighting the games so I'd absolutely love to hear your retort good sir.
@ GUNNAH_MAN yeah I've heard just about every excuse as to why Tekken is scrubby but like Jan The Man said it might be due to the player's inability to pull off some great combos.
With that said I may pas on this game for 1 single solitary shallow reason...Capcom's roster. On the Tekken side I could potentially have 7-8 characters I use effectively. If Capcom keeps the same roster from Super or AE I'll get their version or nothing at all.
