R.I.P. Nujabes. One of the most amazing (and unfortunately most slept on) producers in the world.

You mean the casual crowd that's just going to put this game to the side within the next month? When you buy a fighting game it's your responsibility to know what you're getting. Maybe this genre just isn't for you.
good characters both of them but suprisingly when i get my hands on jill i like her better huh
#4 Last time I checked this IS a casual game sorta speak. Easy button layout, easy mode, easy combos (even infinites). It's designed for people to grasp easy and have fun but it's also designed to be competitive. MvC2 was never designed with a competitvly balance even though it became competitive however in the end only a hand full of characters were viable.
The best thing about MvC3 is you can pick maybe one High Tier but pick a low tier and still fair in compeititon because the high tier balances out the low tier weakness and strengths which was something Mangeto, Storm, Sent in MvC2 could'nt do for low tiers in that game and only a select Low tiers could manage.
I agree with Sol_Badguy, not everyone is gonna like the game and it might just not be for you. There is a huge SSFIV crowd and competititve circle there if you like.
Also agree with #11 that Jill seems kind of easy mode, not in execution but just that you can mash buttons and get away with lucky pot shots which will make her annoying in normal play. I don't like characters like this because you have one guy trying to learn her right and the millions who have to resort to turbo simple mode BS to squeeze stupid wins or advantages.
agreed with #4
as excited as i was for Marvel i got bored with it pretty quickly. i'm just not a fan of how "easy" the game is. And since you really don't have to "work" for a win, winning doesn't feel as satisfying to me as it did in sf4 or the older fighting games. I'm not knocking people who play Marvel, i'm just saying that this type of fighting game isn't for me like i thought. It's still fun as hell to watch though. ill just have to wait for AE and third strike OE
#13 Jill's moveset is more like Cammy's from Street Fighter
WHOA I thought I accidentally hit play on my playlist. Feather is one of my favorite songs of all time.
Nujabes...didnt he do the Samurai champloo theme?!
#4 and #16
Do either of you realize just how casual MvC3 is?
This is a game where 1 2 3 4 j. 1 2 3 4 OTG 1 2 3 4 OTG Super is viable for 90% of the cast, and everyone else can skip a third of that and do 500K anyway.
It does not get more "pick up and play" than that.
@mndy
I think that was their point actually. I always more of a 4 and ST guy but this game is pretty deep too.
...am I the only one who is reminded of Elena when I see Jill's moves?
Yes, Rolento in SSF4 AE. That would shake the scene and players would look at the SSF4 Tournament at EVO in a completely diferent way. A completely new character that no one knows would be huge too right now. But nothing of this will happen before EVO.
Good to dream tho.
I was hoping that machine gun thing was unfinished when it leaked...
Jill doesn't look to appealing. Most will just be mashing
Cr. Lows anyway to get in XD
@4 The game is pretty casual tbh. I mean the simple mode controls allows new players to get into the game and play. The normal controls are not rocket science either its just target combos "L>M>H>Do something cool>Then something advanced" This game comes down to two things...is it your cup of tea? or is it not? For me personally its not my cup of tea I dont see myself spend hours in training mode like I did with SSF4 and many other fighting games but I do enjoy playing with my friends as we like to lol and soem of the damage that goes on with x factor :)
am i missing something? why are guys talking about Nujabes? other than i love the way jills mission #10 looks. i like loops like that.
I'm having problems with mission 9 >.<
