Some really nice Street Fighter 3 fan artwork done by Victor Hugo was posted on his WordPress site. This takes a different approach than the traditional anime look, showing Ryu, Hugo and Poison.

Now this is newsworthy, not bosslogic's ugly "hyper real" artwork.
There was actually some effort put into this, unlike bosslogic's recolor, blur, cut and paste jobs.

Agreed. Nothing against BossLogic but I don't find the "Hyper Real" that impressive. This is pretty interesting though, nice spin on things.

#4, #5 Can't you guys say something nice without being jerks? Bosslogic has fans and even if you don't like his hyper real stuff why do you feel the need to knock it? Everyone has different tastes when it comes to art but it doesn't mean you have to be negative about it.

#7, I'm not saying his stuff sucks, I just don't find it impressive, that's all. Just my opinion. If someone doesn't like it they have just as much right to express as those who do like his stuff. Nothing personal.

This is very well done. And totally rocks my skill in Maya, softimage and 3DS max, but Ryu totally looks like a little Italian kid.

Hugo looks amazing though.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and as an artist myself trained for years I can tell you while everyone has a right to their opinion, you can't say Bosslogic art is not real art. Art is pretty much anything you can think of. Im sure BossLogic put just as much work and effort into his art as the guy here did. And while Photo Shop is pretty easy to use, to get that "THAT" quality takes a lot of talant and you can't do that crap overnight.

Give credit where credit is due.

He is able to do good stuff, I know it since I saw some of his best works, but -everything- he made about Street Fighter is only worth insults, and his Hyper Real images are more like Hyper Bad images, containing more errors in a single picture than Capcom puts bugs into a game..... wait, this.. is not possible.. I think.
