Jill and Shuma-Gorath will both be available as DLC fighters on Tuesday, March 15, 2011. They'll cost $4.99 or 400 Microsoft points each.
I'd like to playthrough and get Shuma's story ending, don't care much for Jill though.

Shuma himself pronounces it GO-Wrath. As does Iron Man. And I'm guessing every other character in the game. The latter pronunciation sounds so much better. I wince every time they say the former.
This preview could have been a bit better. Seth says Jill is has a "unique" playstyle. I wonder how, because so far, she's still looking really straightforward. More information on these "feral stances" will probably change my opinion.
Shuma looking like a boss as always. Why did they have to make him a charge character, though? Charge moves in general are stupid, and this almost ruins the character for me.
Jill's varying stances could be interesting. I like stance-swapping characters :-D Not sold on Shuma, though.
Not a whole lot of interesting stuff here, but I love me some Shuma gameplay. Can't wait to play him myself in two days.
Also that mispronunciation is terrible.

... You realize he had two charge moves in MVC2, right? Mystic Stare and Mystic Smash. In MVC3 he has, get this, two charge moves. Mystic Stare and the brand new Mystic Ray. Mystic Smash his a QCF now. He's hardly a charge character.
@ froggyman77 if you get a change look at the strategy guide because jill got interesting things in there. one thing she can do from the freal stances is teleport. the up/forward teleport allows you to pass over a porjectile or ground attack. also she has the potential to make a single hit lead into an infinite combo. There are 2 infinites in the guide and the look easy.
The girl still fits in. Jeez, this is a waste of money buying this optupus character -. - only losers would buy the octupus. lets face it. We needed a character not a peace of one character. lame!

Yes, I already knew that he was a charge character in MvC2. But still, my question remains: why did they have to make him a charge character in the first place? Charge moves are freakin' stupid.

not getting these dlcs as they both are probably mid tier. if capcom was smart and had phoenix and sentinel as dlc then they would have more people buy them
@ #14 hey man people thought she hulk would suck and be low tier base of gameplay previews now look at her.I do agree though they should of had phoenix and sentinel as dcl instead of jill and shuma only because i think they are more popular and might have sold better but still i think these 2 will do good.
Damn only 1 day left. I can't wait to have them! but i don't hope that when i have them, i will be bored with them too fast. =/

In addition to Jill and Shuma, there are files for Frank West and Doctor Octopus. But to be fair, it's basically just a name file, not any actual stuff. There are also name files for zombies and the Doc's arms. All of the other similar files are for characters that are already playable, and Jill and Shuma.
#14 You do realize the sale of a game or content is not based on a community derived tier list. Capcom does not create Tier list nor do they pay much attention to them since they change from time. Most people who bought the Special edition are getting this tomarrow with no extra charge so Capcom made most of their money from this anyways.
(Damn, almost got to see Shuma's full 'Win" animation!)

It's funny how we gamers get so "Woooo I can't wait to buy this" Come on guys. I donno about you guys but I'm smart I don't buy unnecessary characters just cause their new characters. I wonder who would pay to use that octupus character? i can't find a reason. Seriously! @. @ at least jill has the holes we men like. But the octupus? you gotta be the king of creeps!
Nice gameplay, shuma looks fun, though both him and jill seem to deal so little damage, kinda worried
