Justin.tv building "world's best" esports site, job opening

Streaming mega-site, Justin.tv has a job opening asking for someone who has experience with Super Street Fighter 4, among other things.

The position mentions that they're building the "world's best live esports site," which could potentially be very exciting news for our community.

Little else is known about what's going on, but if more stuff develops that's relevant to our community — you'll hear about it here.

It's a logo. It's instantly identifiable as being representative of gaming, but also system agnostic. It doesn't really look like a 360 controller (the colors of the buttons are correct, but flipped 180°, and is missing both sticks), so it's a logo they can use to represent their new gaming subfocus. They could have used an arcade stick, but that would have potentially been *worse*, as they're going for a generic, all-encompassing ESports branding (including PC gaming, as their listing implies of SC2 interest).

It comes down to being a logo that evokes what it needs to, without infringing on anyone's copyrighted images, etc. And it certainly seems to work.

Nice of them to put up a job posting but I am pretty sure more than half of this community only knows how to play games and nothing else. Interesting to see who will get the job.

This posting was less about the job listing and more about the esports site they're building. It's potentially very exciting news for our community. One of the biggest stream companies wanting to do something more with our community.

You know whats sad, I always thought Justin.tv was like Justin Wongs own personal site for the longest time for some reason. Like all those matches of SF4 was just him playing or something LOL!

Your gonna need to know more about other things than just Super Street Fighter 4. 2013 Graduation date can't come any sooner for my Program Engineer Degree. :(

I recently saw a site like j.tv for gaming but it wasn't ready yet... that's pretty much dead now. j.tv is awesome though so this should turn out better anyway.
