Like I've said before, this character poll makes me happy, because I wanted to see Gene in the game, and Capcom doesn't want to license Strider for MvC3, won't use MegaMan X (they already have Zero), and have said that they didn't think Phoenix Wright would fit.....
which leaves Gene, who ranked higher than Frank West, and who was left out of the roster because Capcom didn't think he was all that popular. This blows that argument out of the water from the Capcom fan perspective.

In its latter stages people criticized it for not evolving that much, and the story was pretty meh but the core gameplay is up there as one of the best platformers of all time. Not to mention, the Zero series is basically the grandchild of the X series. They took the X series and built on it the way people were hoping for back when MMX started going downhill.

Keeping track of the votes it was apparent that the same person was voting for them multiple time. even down to matching #s of votes per every half hour/hour. I posted my observations on the site and sent it to a moderator so they would investigate. However it appears that I was ignored. Anyways this won't make a lick of difference but the votes for Juri and B.B. Hood were SEVERELY padded. Megaman X2 shoryu would not be overpowered. You'd have to build 5 bars, tag X in, and then not take chip. That's only going to happen if you have level 3 x-factor. If that's the case, you would have better spent your meter doing something else as you are going to kill almost any opponent in level 3 x-factor as soon as you land a hit on them.
How about NEW Characters guys? Personally, I'm thrilled Marvel is making the decisions because if it were up to us this game would suck balls.

The list with Strider on #1 made more happy, I understand that X is the most requested, but I still don't find the appeal towards Phoenix, especially over a classic vet who has no excuse of not being in this game other than making more money. Something tells me that if Niitsuma never ever mentioned something that gave them hope, Phoenix fans would've never ask for him, at least not that much, it is kinda if Niitsuma would've gave Marvel fans hope for Squirrel Girl.

WOW phenix wright and squirrel girl. Please.......... I like carnage over venom. Bisons a good choice now that you have Akuma. Rmikas cool because theres no good wrestlers. Haggers a let down. Even El Fuerte is a cool wrestler. But how about capcoms king arthur and the knights of justice that was back in the snes. Onimusha is also a great choice for character picks. Marvels side would be knight crawler, apocalypse, sinister, abomination, black bolt, imperial guardian, beast, blade, emma frost, silver surfer(because of galactus)mystic(or morph) sandman, thanos, the blob, black panther, kravin the hunter, lady death strike, marrow, arch angel, tomb stone. For DS, i would say jedah, his moves and personality is crazy insane. When i saw jedah and dante meet up in capcoms fighting evolutions ending credits i almost had a heart attack. Even Bison when he beat the crap out of gill and you see vega, balrog and his shadowloo foot soldiers look down at gill with disgust as they left on there hover craft. So many better characters on marvels part. Capcoms hard to choose. Pheonix wright and squirrel,girl, i just cant comprehend those picks, but i guess capcom knows what there doing. Remy and twelve just throwing it out there. Strider because hes badass as well. Rival schools would be interesting.
Dont know about you guys, but im getting tired of mvc3 already. Dont get me wrong its a fun game, but combos are alittle to easy, and having simple mode still bugs the crap out of me. You cant watch matchs or save em, and anyone can pick this game up and be a badass. Theres nothing really to be excited about this game except future dlcs. Hopefully iL quickly get over it, but i wanna hear more AE news. Even sfxt. MK9 is soon to be a reality.

everyone is entitled to their own opinion so it doesnt matter who gets top. any character would be good because this game has no characters compared to the old version. In my opinion i rather have carnage or blade for marvel, and strider or any other street fighter character. Your crazy if you think X is a clone of Zero. Their game play is different as night and day with exception to their sliding and wall clinging ability. With all the armor upgrades, and power ups, X has the potential to be an awesome character if done correctly. Personally I voted

In my humble opinion, the phoenix wright should not be on that list, just, she hulk, x-23 ... the best would be to make room for the characters that were already in February and were less fortunate, as, side gambit marvel and BB hood on the side of capcom.
