and thats how i play it also, keep away scrubby and lame! lol
but i use doom's hidden missile instead, that guy should mix up his assists with hidden missiles and sentinel force while zoning with arthur, molecular shield isnt that bad either but its mostly use for pure zoning, both hidden missiles and molecular shield has its pro's and con's so it really differ on what kind of strategy you play with arthur with assist doom.
cuz with sentinel force i can zone and hit confirm arthur's dagger and lance toss to goddess bracelet, while i can mix up and still zone with hidden missiles for people who jump/fly to get close to me or even use hidden missiles to escape close quarter situation.
so far im still training my arthur on what to do in close quarter situation, still training my doom's combo, still training how to properly block in this game lol.
Dark Phoenix VS Dark Phoenix equals instant HYPE!, you can't even see who is who on that match up, it was epic.
This game doesn't have a spam problem, it has a 'people don't wanna learn to penetrate keepaway' problem.`
Obviously Malda sucks at MvC3. You'd think it's spamming with all the things that are going on at once, but in actually spamming doesn't get you far. Everything is controlled... at least if you're good.

spamming is a valid strategy in mvc3 and has always being so , spamming assists is how you get in and set up people for combos you noobs.
That arthur was trollicious. it even sounded like they were laughing at mike when they were doing all that.
Spamming is just mindlessly repeating an attack, if you can't tell that wasn't spamming stick to shooters.

the people online and even friends that i played with this team calls me scrub or lame all the time, but honestly their just dumbf*ck not to know the strategy against this kind of keepaway gameplay specially with this kind of team!
lastly... its fun playing this team specially when you are winning, hearing your opponents salty complain and whine like a loser bitch is so epic priceless!
#5 Most of the time Ross uses Ryu,storm, hulk, but against sentinel he will sub out and bring in his counter sentinel. If he would have used Ryu instead of Sentinel He could have destroyed Arthur and his assist easy.
That strategy with Arthur is very annoying, but that is how he is played. If you can block he is chipping you and that takes a lot longer than when you actually get in and get 1 combo on him. Once you kill him you can call gg.

I would like to understand the logic behind that comment. Why is it Team Scrub when it takes the same or even more skill to play it well and win than other teams? Because it's projectile based? That's so dumb. Arthur is not even a top character right now. For this be called a Team Scrub. Most or every team we see everyone using in tournaments would have to be called Team Major Scrub.
Learn to apreciate and judge a good variety of gameplay.

I'd like to know that too. I saw one video where someone went from char 1 > char 2 > and then back to char 1 in one air combo :/
The same people who say 'spamming is a valid tactic' here are the same 3S fanboys who whine incessantly about fireballs in SSF4.

But if you're talking about the Doctor Doom air exchange, he actually went back to the ground first and then jumped to continue the combo. So basically it was two different air combos.
Re: getting different chars to come out in air exchange, I think it just goes for whichever char is first in the list, but there is the usual cooldown time when your first char tags out - which is why usually for most short air combos the third char will come out as the first is still recharging, if that makes any sense.
That or the fact it's a relaunch combo!
