tell me... who is actually gonna buy the tekken version of SFXT??? lol
@2
Me >:D
Hahahaha, look at all the fan boys. Makes me glad I play this game. Might I remind you that the producer for Tekken is not a troll like the one for Ono is. He gives the fans what they want, hence practically confirming the whole roster for TTT2 from fan questions, unlike Ono who would say something like, "Oh Elena? I'll have to e-mail her." and never leaves an actual hint :).
Anyway, the video was good. Cody-Miguel wasn't exactly all that, but it was okay. SMP forgot Ingrid-Lili/Karin-Lili though :O
with some tweaking on the animations i can totally see those combos working with the street fighter cast.
to everyone who's hating on this video.
i can't tell if you've ever played any tekken games, but if not, try it out first before judging, else you're just dick riding street fighter. the first two tekken games suck, but the rest are pretty fun imo(even though i don't like the direction they are taking with the 5th and 6th game). i still like street fighter more than tekken, though.
@2
me, after i've seen(and liked) how the game looks and having read/watched professional reviews that praise the game.
(How come Dan's super taunt wasn't displayed?
Oh right, It'd break Tekken.)
I don't see how people can defend Tekken; I really don't.
Wow, just how close minded can you Street Fighter fanboys get? Tekken is just as competitive as your beloved Street Fighter. Hating on it just because none of you are willing to branch out when most of you probably have never played a Tekken game in your life you none of you can legitimately criticize the series.
I play Street Fighter and Tekken respectfully, but I originally grew up playing Tekken.
I swear, can't we just get along? I mean come on:
Street Fighter Fanboys vs. Tekken Fanboys = Team Edward vs. Team Jacob: POINTLESS! Grow up, people!
And #2: I'm buying both versions.
@2: I will be buying both games. While I do prefer Street Fighter, Tekken is still a fun game.
@8: lol @ the Tekken fanboy. And I prefer Ono's trolling. I like to have some surprises when I buy a game, rather than knowing everything that's going to be in it. I think it's fun to explore the game for myself.
I'm gonna purchase both of the games...and yes you guys Tekken is way more technical than SF is. Your execution has to be key in that game, a char for SF that might scratch the surface of tekken might be Viper, or even Gen, if you know how to switch between stances for a combo, which most don't. O_O
So don't bash a game because you don't like it, this is a SF website, so obviously SF is going to win, go to tekkennation and say the same things, you'll get chewed, now this isn't hate mail, but seriously guys there are other games than SF.
I'm better at SF but Tek is my first "love" and I'd be happy if I was a decent player in Tek, but I'm not, so I stick to SF and MVC3.
ah yes the street fighter groupies will bash one of the best 3-d fighters in exsitence. while i love street fighter and it was the first fighting game i ver played tekken was the 1st game i ever ourchased on ps1 and will forver be one of my favs this video was cool cant wait to see how namco version of sf x tekken looks
@MALDA
I doubt you play either of those games. In tekken (like your precious VF) you need to memorize frame data and learn mixups, unlike SF4.
@songman
Please... And c.lk -> c.lk -> c.mk -> hadouken is difficult?
-__-
If you idiots think that super difficult combos are the end all and be all, then you just go play guitar hero.
Ignorant tards are very ignorant.
@MALDA
I'm not stupid. I know VF is way more technical than tekken, but if your gonna BS me by saying tekken is for scrubs think again. Oh and can you tell me WHY Virtua fighter is so technical since your an "expert" on it. I mean you would know because you "own" both of these games amiright???
@33
I don't think I'll ever fully understand why people hate on Tekken when 9 times out of 10 they've probably never played to least see if it was for them or not. I also get tired of how people herald SF as the end all be all of fighting games when there OTHER games out there that are just as good.
I find it funny how people say tekken is so unrealistic because of juggling "big toes,"
and yet I've not once seen a man skyrocket 12 feet in the air while his entire upper body was on fire before.
I dunno, maybe I'm just not looking in the right places.
@38: You called everyone a SF fanboy because they prefer it, or because they dislike Tekken. Just returning the favor. ;)
@Shwaffles, you'd be surprised how much frame data and mixups SF4 has, especially if you're playing a character that requires a high level of execution.
People don't actually realize how similar the two games are in terms of fundamental strategies. Both focus on footsies and then usually getting damage in chunks from mistakes. You really think a non-wakeup Shoryu xx FADC xx Ultra is that far from punishing a -14 move with a launch to wall carry to bound? Both serve the same purpose, but they look different.
Good job making the video,but is not my kinda thing.
lol at #11.
This video is cool. that's my opinion. :-p However, I almost never play tekken 6...
Tekken is a great game full of great content (without the need to pay for DLC) people hating on it are just a bunch of fanboys that haven't even touch the game thats all there is to it.
You fanboys can't really be talking about a mashing when SFIV is around where you see people mashing DP's and Ultra's all the time.
Shwafflex
going to your first comment on this bitch(this section)
You know both are made,produced in japan and made with the japanese player in mind? and both have very anime storylines so WTF are you doing calling the street fighter set weaboos for? the fact you're even on this site commenting shows me you're atleast really wanting to comment....
Ugh, I always hated how Tekken was that 'floaty' It's always looked really stupid to me. Rufus better be in the Street Fighter X Tekken since they JUST made Bob...
Seriously? Why do I even look at the Eventhubs comments...
@Shwaffles you said @songman
Please... And c.lk -> c.lk -> c.mk -> hadouken is difficult?
No that is not hard to do, but What Im saying about Tekken is that how you Hit someone in a Tip of a TOE and still be able to JUGGLE it again and again with JaB? not only that IF that opponent goes to the ground you still can combo while they on the ground and magically pop back up to do a wall slam.
@51
Dont care who came first, I just want Rufus in the game and if its 2vs2 (which I doubt but would be cool) I'd have a Rufus/Bob team.
Bad Game...
