That Sagat was trash. Only reason gamerbee is winning anything is cause kids respect his Adon to much. Adon has no pokes, he has 1 combo and special spam all day. Take away instant jag kick and he gets even worse. Youd think Adon would at least have good pokes being fast.

I agree that SSFIV is better than MvC3. And when everybody claims the game is boring now, the hype at Winter Brawl was real. I still remember when there were MvC3 games were happening on the stream and everybody on the back was going nuts with some SSFIV casuals. And they even interrupted the MvC3 commentary to see what was going on.
I really hope they reveal a couple of big characters to AE that would hype everyone even more. Like Rolento... Everybody would go nuts and get interested in a AE console version if Rolento was in...

The problem with this match-up is that Sagat cannot zone Adon, his specials are just too good at going through fireballs. Adone just pressures Sagat into corner and chips him to death. =P
Both players are pretty good and both have solid execution. The match is hard for Sagat when the Adon player "knows" the match-up and how to approach it.
All this talk about application....just practice.
SSF4 matches are unwatchable now. I still enjoy playing SSF4, but for tournament-watching entertainment, it's really all about MvsC3.
Adon has pretty good pokes lol cr.mp is one of the best cr. counter pokes in the game, and how can you not like a 2 hit s.HK? s.mk is nice and got nicer, cr.lp is 3 frames, s.lk & s.lp are sick, pretty much the only bad poke he has is cr.mk and even that isnt bad i only mention it because cr.mp actually has(slightly) more range then cr.mk.
Adon is a pretty solid character which is evident by how he was handled in the transition from SSF4 to AE, only nerf was his get up time getting put to normal and he got minimal buffs.
props for putting up these videos both to GamerBee and Eventhubs! also that Sagat did not suck imo, you could watch him adapt to the match up. GamerBee just didnt need to learn anything in that match up(or so it seems).
i will admit tho that Sagat did miss some easy Tiger Uper damage, either out of respect or just being unsure of the timing.
@18 Seriously the MVC3 matches where meh in the stream it felt like the dying days of WCW you didn't know what match it was the same thing over and over (Sent) it wasn't until the top 4 that it was really hyped and that was mostly JWong with his non Sent teams.
SSF4 was more hype and it was annoying having to just hear about it instead of watching it I mean the most hype between the team tourney for both games was Aquasilk landing those Ultras.

Adon doesnt need flashy or lengthy combos to be effective. And he does have quite a few good pokes which covers him well.
The Sagat player seemed to understand the match up, but gamerbee have his own habits hiro was aware of which appeared for him to be hesitant.
Gamerbee loves hitting buttons on whether or wake up on when put on the defensive, the sagat player understood that but it was usually too risky to challenging it without meter to fadc. When he had meter he tried to put adon on the defensive so he can do what he needed to. watch the meter and how the players react to each others bars during the matches.
Adon has many ways too deal with fireballs Ex Jaguar tooth, ex jaguar kick, U1, regular jaguar kick outside the tip of S.RH range(almost a dead zone for sagat)
Sagat on the other hand doesnt have too much to rely on beside trying to out poke adon faster pokes and kara TU and kara TK all which are unsafe due to improper spacing(sagat cant zone well with his fireballs and his slow walking speed)
The sagat player knew he had to fireball adon down while adon had little meter and rushdown to capitalize on adon over aggressiveness when he doesnt have the momentum. Just alot of work needing to be put in due to sagat main strong point is zoning and in this match up is very hard to do that.
Also about the mvc3 vs ssf4 hype on the stream was called for. Too many people so focused on trying to win they just tried to pick whats easy and familiar to net some easy wins, thus too many of the same characters in rotation and playing in a very predictable manner from inexperience. Last i recall ssf4 started out the same way with the wave of ryus hondas boxer rufus all going the lame it out route on life lead. Im sure once people stop feeling bitter about losing out to dark phoenix or sentinel and then sooner or later end up incorporating it into their teams, mvc3 would be one of the more intense hype game to look forwards too.
Gamerbee does J.FP, J.MP, Aerial Jaguar Kick (unsure which one), cr. LP, cr. LP, Rising Jaguar and it's a combo? That is madness.
Lol most of the people here complaining about MVC3 probably suck at it. A lot of the pros at first didn't like MV3, but now are getting into it. That was the same thing with Vanilla SFIV.
In all seriousness though, probably most people like SF more because it's slow paced and user-friendly. That makes it easier and anyone can play it.
I personally prefer the faster pace games like BB and MvC because that to me takes more skill... just my opinion.

do you even know what your talking about? Adon makes up for having crappy pokes (other than cr. strong, and st. roundhouse), by having an onslaught of specials. all of his specials are armor break (except air JK) and put you in a frame disadvantage. not to mention Rising Jaguar has priority over most specials in the game. his instant neutral j. roundhouse beats most reversals (INLCUDING Kens strong shoryu). leanr about Adon first before you bash anyone
sagat's a bad match up agsinst adon imo. Really, any big character is a bad match because adon can pull off more options / combos on these characters compared to others. The instant overhead with j.rh into jaguar tooth, land, cr. lp into dp does so much damage. Even if it doesn't connect, adon can keep pressure.

I would be VERY careful with that statement. SF4 is more noob-friendly when LEARNING it, but not at tourney level. VF is very slow paced, but it's by far the most technical of fighters. Also, 3S is a pretty slow paced game and it's by far one of the most difficult fighters capcom ever made. :/
But I do have more fun with faster paced games such as guilty gear and marvel.
mvc3 is a fast paced offensive game while SF4 series is a defensive; technical game. Each game has it's seasons and right now it's MVC 3 over here in the US. I like to play both and always have.
As for Adon vs Sagat..Gamerbee has beaten Mago's Sagat and other players like Daigo with his Adon. I'll say it again and keep saying it's about the player not the character.

I beat noone at Evo cause I don't have a thousand dollars to throw out to go play at a tournament against kids that live the game. For the amount of time I play I am not impressed at all by any of these "pros" and Gamerbee and any of you are more then welcome to come to ps3 and whisper me on KazigluBey and ill show you just how trash you are.
And for Adon's pokes. Cr MP is good, cp lp is good but gets stuffed alot, cr lk is meh, st hk is easily punished, st mp is useless in super, and that's it. He has literally no AA, and majority of cast can spam out of everything he dishes out. Stop sucking gamerbees dick for 1 second and actually play an Adon and you will see he gets stuffed 8/10. Take away instant jag kick and gamerbee switches chars guaranteed. Pathetic that "pro"s get beat by neutral jump hk on wakeup haha, garbage.
Pfft... Then you should go to Evo and money match gamerbee or would you prefer online where lag rules all.
Man, I need to pick up SSF4 again... I haven't played since MvC3 dropped. Although MvC3 is so much fun, it doesn't feel as controlled and strategic as SSF4 is.
