Wow, they can surprise us with this stuff but not with extra hidden secret non-disclosed characters in the AE download. I'll buy this now but only so I can keep the dream alive and expect new characters in the missing AE slots :/

Wonderful surprise. Getting this now!

@4

This is a separate game that you will have to pay for. But don't worry, Capcom is "planning something special for those of you who own both versions."

(Be sure to tell us what the "secret" character is in this version if you get it!)

Yes, this needs to be released for android... I would surely buy it. Come on capcom, it's like releasing sf IV for the xbox but not for the playstation!!

It's nothing like that.

Why is the title artwork for this game so much nicer than what we have in the real thing?

got it early in NZ. If you have both versions you get all the DLCs and some pictures/cards for SF4. Nothing special on volt so far... all the same.. no ultra 2s or anything. Online is quite good although level of players aren't that high yet. Apart from the 17 characters I also had to fight akuma at the end of arcade mode so I'm guessing he's an unlockable. Thats pretty much it but totally worth $1.29NZ in my opinion.

(So is the secret character Akuma? I don't remember him being announced, but then again, I don't really follow SFIV Iphone edition)

Aussie here, just got it. Haven't tried online mode yet but I am glad this came out and at the low price.

What was the special card you get in regular IV? I had all of them unlocked already due to a glitch so is it a random one or a new one?

Parvin said on June 29, 2011 at 4:46 p.m.

Akuma is the 'secret' character.

Trying to figure out how to unlock him

What the hell is Game Centre and how do I log in to it?!

#17
Disgustipater said on June 29, 2011 at 5:28 p.m.

Game Center is a system app (one you can't get rid of) that you go into and create a username and it is basically like XBL/PSN for your iPhone.

Parvin said on June 29, 2011 at 8:06 p.m.

So, is Akuma unlockable?

Why the hell do they give you the costumes and cards for the old version? If you bought Volt, why would you ever play the old version?
