Oops, I just watched the second vid. Music not so good.

Catalyst, it probably took this poor guy ages to put together all those combos for evil Ryu and record it and edit it, and you introduce it by saying "nothing overly fancy here". Lol!
I'm not sure what you consider overly fancy?

@3, neither does mine :-( I really wanted the flashing / lightening animation of Oni too from the Arcade. But I don't have that. Sadly, if you get that with the disk version I'll probably buy. Oh hell, I'll probably buy it anyway!!

I really like what they did to Gouken, he is a much more unique and viable character now. I don't really believe much into tiers, but I really think Gouken deserves no less than High Mid now.

I said in my first comment (#2) that I love the Starry Eyed track. At least, I like the Jakwob remix - that's the one I have.
The second track wasn't to my taste but I gave the guy props for his combo video. Which is more than you did douchefarmer ;-)

Also, the E.Ryu combos are sooo much fun in practice and very viable many of them. I love the j.hk, s.hp, lk.tatsu, shoryu, FADC, U1.

I thought that techno music from the second vid was hot.

Not to mention the combos. Pretty damn sweet.

Anyway, only real problem with the Evil Ryu vid is the over-use of effects when transitioning between combos. A simple fade or a straight swap is enough most of the time.

Overly fancy just refers to more of the show off combo videos, which aren't practical. The Evil Ryu one had practical BnB combos.

The music for the second video was fuc-king horrible. Don't promote s-hit like that.
